Nam Yoon Su has been selected to be the male lead of the upcoming SBS drama "Today's Webtoon."
On March 29th it was officially announced that Nam Yoon Su will be the leading man of Kim Se Jeong in the Korean remake "Today's Webtoon." The actor's representative, Agency Garten, also confirmed the news. The SBS drama will air in the second half of 2022.
"Today's Webtoon" is the Korean remake of the 2016 Japanese drama "Juhan Shuttai!" (Sleepeeer Hit!). It will tell the story of a former judo player named On Ma Eun who challenged herself to a new beginning. She got a new job as a webtoon editor. The series will showcase the life and struggles of the people at the webtoon editorial department.
The upcoming series will be the collaboration work of directors Jo Su Won and Kim Young Hwan and writers Cho Ye Rang and Lee Hae Eun.
Nam Yoon Su will play the role of Goo Jun Yeong. He is a person who does everything with full sincerity.
"Today's Webtoon" will both be the second drama of Nam Yoon Su and Kim Se Jeong for the year.
Nam Yoon Su will be busy this year. He is currently filming for his upcoming webtoon-based drama "The Borrowed Body."He will also take part in the upcoming film "Soul Mate" with Kim Da Mi, Jeon So Nee, Byeon Woo Seok, and Kim Soo Hyung.
He also recently participated in the variety program "Sixth Sense 3." He was part of the second episode.
Last year, the actor starred in two dramas such as "The King's Affection" and "Beyond Evil."
Nam Yoon Su is known for being part of the series "Birthcare Center," "Extracurricular," "Not a Robot," and more.
The actor made his debut in 2018. Since then, he participated in several dramas every year.
