Park Hae Jin returns to the small screen with the drama "Showtime From Now On"
According to media outlets on May 3, Park Hae Jin has chosen his next drama project and its none other than "Showtime From Now On," written by Ha Yoon Ah who also made the script for "Mystic Pop-up Bar." The upcoming series will begin filming in late August. Park Hae Jin will play the main lead role named Cha Cha Woong.
"Showtime From Now On" will revolve around the life of Cha Cha Woong, who works with ghosts to solve cases based on clues hidden in the incident where he got involved. The drama is said to have romance, comedy, investigation, ghosts, and such in the plot. Cha Cha Woong will have a romance with a passionate policewoman with a mystical mind.
Cha Cha Woong is a superstar in the world of magic. He's viewed by many as a charismatic magician whose trademark is his cool looks and straight forward remarks.
"Showtime From Now On" will be Park Hae Jin's follow up drama after winning the Daesang (Grand Prize) in 2020 MBC Drama Awards for his great performance in the drama "Kkondae Intern." The drama "Kkondae Intern" that also stars Kim Eung Soo, Han Ji Eun, Park Ki Woong, Park Ah In, Noh Jong Hyun, and more also received the Daesang (Grand Prize) in the said award show as the "Best Drama of the Year." The said series gave Park Hae Jin his first ever Daesang Award since his acting debut in 2006. He also participated in several dramas such as "Forest," "Man to Man," "Cheese in the Trap," "Doctor Stranger," "You Who Came from the Stars," and many more.
