Veteran actor Park Ho San cast together with Ong Seong Wu in KakaoTV drama "How About a Cup of Coffee?"
According to media outlet SPOTV on May 25th, Park Ho San will be joining Ong Seong Wu in the upcoming drama produced by Kakao TV titled "How About a Cup of Coffee?".
Based on Huh Young Man's webcomic of the same name, "How About a Cup of Coffee?" will tell the story of Kang Go Bi, whose passion for coffee led him to dream of becoming a barista all while learning more about the brewed drink and people. He will be supervised by the master of coffee, Park Seok. The drama will be helmed by Noh Jung Wook and the script will be penned by Kim Joon Hyung.
Park Ho San received the offer to play the role of Park Seok, while Ong Seong Wu on the other hand is currently reviewing the offer to play the role of Kang Gobi, the newbie barista.
"How About a Cup of Coffee?" will be added to Kakao TV's list of produced dramas. They also worked for dramas such as "Lovestruck in the City" with Kim Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook, "A Love So Beautiful" with Kim Yo Han and So Ju Yeon, "How to be Thirty" with Jung In Sun, CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk, and Song Jae Rim, "Love Revolution" with Park Ji Hoon and Lee Ruby, and more.
The drama is expected to begin filming this June and will air during the second half of the year.
"How About a Cup of Coffee?" will be Park Ho San's third drama for the year. He appeared in the second installment of "The Penthouse 2: War in Life" and will reprise his role on the last season of the drama "The Penthouse 3: War in Life". He was also part of the 2021 movie "Night in Paradise" and he will also join the cast of upcoming movies "Wolf Hunt" and "6/45".
