Love Your Enemy starring Ju Ji Hoon and Jung Yu Mi confirms actors that will make special appearance
Actor Choi Woo Jin is joining the cast of Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin's K-drama When the Phone Rings.
On November 22, it was officially confirmed that Choi Woo Jin will be part of the upcoming thriller romance MBC K-drama. The actor also shared his insights into joining the series.
When the Phone Rings will be the official debut of Choi Woo Jin on broadcast channel K-drama. He started his acting career in 2019 through the web series Suddenly, Mood, First Love. He worked alongside Kim Min Joo, Lee Won Jong, Lee Jae Yoon, and Kim Hyun Ryong.
He also made a special cameo appearance in this year's Death's Game Part 2. The K-drama was led by Seo In Guk, Park So Dam, Nam Kyung Eup, Go Youn Jung, Kim Mi Kyung, and Kim Ji Hoon.
Choi Woo Jin shared his thoughts about in starring When the Phone Rings through his agency Yuehua Entertainment Korea. According to the actor, "Having dreamed of acting since childhood, it's more than just a new experience to be in a broadcast channel drama. It's an incredible honor to share my work with the viewers. Seeing my parents' joy at the news of my debuting was truly inspiring, and it has fueled my passion for acting even more."
The actor concluded, "I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from such talented directors, staff, and senior actors. Filming this drama has been a significant milestone, and I'm excited to share it with you. Please show your support to the drama."
When the Phone Rings will focus on the story of a couple of three years who got together through an arranged marriage. They are pretending to be normal and happy to the public, but their lives change after the wife is suddenly abducted by a mysterious person. The upcoming K-drama will be based on the popular web novel of the same name published on Kakao Page.
Yoo Yeon Seok, Chae Soo Bin, Heo Nam Jun, Jang Gyu Ri, Jin Kyung, and Han Jae Yi will be the main leads of the series.
Choi Woo Jin will portray the role of Park Do Jae. He is the special administrator who closely works with Yoo Yeon Seok's character Baek Sa Eon. He respects Baek Sa Eon the most and does everything that Baek Sa Eon commands.
When the Phone Rings airs its first episode on MBC today at 9:50 PM KST. The K-drama will also be available on Netflix.
