The upcoming drama "The Jinx's Lover" starring Na In Woo and Girls Generation's Seohyun will air on KBS.
On January 18th, media outlet Star News shared that "The Jinx's Lover" will be part of KBS 2TV's Wednesday-Thursday drama timeslot and it will air this coming June.
"The Jinx's Lover" will be led by Na In Woo, Seohyun, Jeon Kwang Ryul, Ki Do Hoon, Lee Ho Jung, Kim Dong Young, and more. The drama will be helmed by Yoon Sang Ho ("River Where the Moon Rises” and "Saimdang, Light’s Diary"). The script will be penned by Jang Yoon Mi ("Luck-Key").
The upcoming romantic fantasy drama will base its story on the popular webtoon of the same name by writer Han Ji Hye and illustrator Gu Seul. It will tell the story of an unlucky man and a goddess who will change her fate.
Na In Woo will bring life to the role of Gong Soo Kwang, a brewmaster who owns a craft beer shop. Seohyun on the other hand will play the role of Lee Seul Bi, the "Goddess of Fortune."
"The Jinx's Lover" will be the reunion drama of Na In Woo and director Yoon Sang Ho. They both worked for the hit KBS drama "River Where the Moon Rises."
Other dramas that will also be included in KBS 2TV's Wednesday-Thursday drama timeslot are "Going to You at Speed of 493km" which is set to air in April and "True Sword Battle" in October.
In 2021, Na In Woo starred in three dramas such as "River Where the Moon Rises," "At a Distance, Spring Is Green," and "Her Bucket List." This year, the actor is also booked and busy. Aside from "The Jinx's Lover," he will also participate in the upcoming drama "Today's Webtoon."
Meanwhile, "The Jinx's Lover" will be Seohyun's follow-up drama after 2020's series "Private Lives" with Go Kyung Pyo. She is also set to star in upcoming films such as "Love and Leashes" and "Holy Night: Demon Hunters."
