A new poster has been revealed for the upcoming KBS K-drama "Oasis."
KBS released the poster for the upcoming historical youth romance K-drama "Oasis" on February 6. It features the main leads Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Choo Young Woo. Through the poster, it was officially revealed that the series will begin airing starting on March 6 at 9:50 PM KST.
The upcoming K-drama will be part of KBS' Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot. The upcoming series will be the collaboration work of directors Han Hee and Yoon Sung Shik, and screenwriter Jung Hyung Soo.
"Oasis" will tell the story of the youth who will sacrifice and do everything to protect their dreams, friendships, and their first love. The K-drama is set in the turbulent times of the Republic of Korea from the 1980s to the 1990s.
Jang Dong Yoon will play the role of Lee Doo Hak, an innocent and smart man from Jeolla Province. Seol In Ah will play the role of Oh Jung Jin, the honest and confident transfer student from Seoul. Choo Young Woo on the other hand will play the role of Choi Cheol Woong, the childhood friend and rival of Lee Doo Hak.
Aside from the main leads, the drama series will also be led by Do Sang Woo, Oh My Girl's Hyun Seung Hee, and Park Noh Shik.
The production team of the upcoming K-drama shared, "The drama will contain the beautiful youth moments of Doo Hak, Jung Jin, and Cheol Woong who met in school uniforms and shared their first love and friendship. Please look forward to the realistic youth chemistry of the main leads Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Choo Young Woo."
"Oasis" will officially premiere on March 6.
In the teaser poster released, the fresh appearance of main leads Lee Doo Hak, Oh Jung Jin, and Choi Cheol Woong dressed in school uniforms. The trio boosts youth energy which makes viewers more excited about the upcoming spring K-drama.
The personalities of the main leads were slightly shown with Doo Hak in a neatly buttoned school uniform showcasing his shy and reliable personality, and Cheol Woong with the opposite by having an unbuttoned uniform and a bag on his shoulder revealing his free-spirited personality.
