"She's the Last Weapon" has officially revealed their main cast lineup.
On January 10th, it was revealed that Park Se Wan, Song Geon Hee, Kim Sung Oh, Kim Tae Hoon, Jeong Seung Kil, and Cha Joo Young will be part of the upcoming Watcha original drama titled "She's the Last Weapon." The drama will be produced by Plus Media Entertainment.
"She's the Last Weapon" will be written and directed by Lee Byung Hun. Director Lee Byung Hun is known for directing hit movies "Extreme Job" and "Twenty." He will also work with Park Seo Joon, IU, and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo for his other works.
The upcoming drama will be a high teen action romance that will revolve around high school students that are chased by criminal organizations.
"She's the Last Weapon" will be the latest addition to the lineup of Korean OTT platform, Watcha. Other contents that are from Watcha are "Unframed" directed by actor Lee Je Hoon, and BL series titled "Semantic Error."
The upcoming original series will be released in the first half of 2022.
Park Se Wan last starred in the Netflix original series "So Not Worth it." "She's the Last Weapon" will be her first drama project for this year. Aside from this, she will also join the upcoming movies "Life is Beautiful" with Ryu Seung Ryong, Yeom Jung Ah, and Ong Seong Wu, and "6/45" with Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Yi Kyung, Eum Moon Suk, and Kwak Dong Yeon.
Song Geon Hee on the other hand is currently starring in the ongoing drama "Snowdrop." The actor became more known after being part of the hit JTBC drama "SKY Castle." He was also part of the dramas "The Fiery Priest," "Love Alarm," "The Tale of Nokdu," "Mystic Pop-Up Bar," "Missing: The Other Side," and more.
