Hwang Jung Min, Jung Woo Sung, Park Hae Joon, and Ahn Sung Ki will be working together for the upcoming movie "Spring In Seoul."
On December 23rd, it was finally confirmed that Hwang Jung Min, Jung Woo Sung, Park Hae Joon, and Ahn Sung Ki are the main leads of the new film. They will be working with director Kim Sung Soo who was also the maker of hit movies "Asura: The City of Madness," "The Flu," "Please Teach Me English," and more.
"Spring In Seoul" will base their story on the actual events that rocked modern Korean history in the late 1970s. The film will be produced by Hive MediaCorp ("Inside Men" and "Deliver Us From Evil.") Jung Woo Sung will reportedly work on the script of the movie as well.
This movie will be Hwang Jung Min and Jung Woo Sung's reunion with director Kim Sung Soo. The three worked together in the film "Asura: The City of Madness."
"Spring In Seoul" is scheduled to begin filming in February 2022.
This year, Hwang Jung Min starred in the film "Hostage: Missing Celebrity." Aside from "Spring In Seoul," the top actor will also join the upcoming movies "Kill Bok Soon" and "The Point Men." He will also return to dramas with "Suriname."
Jung Woo Sung will also star in several upcoming movies such as "A Man of Reason," and "Hunt." "Spring In Seoul" will be his second time writing for a film.
Park Hae Joon is booked and busy as well. He will star in several new films such as "Emergency Declaration," "Mathematician in Wonderland," and "Jung Family's Farm." The actor will also make his small-screen comeback through the series "I Haven't Done My Best Yet."
Lastly, Ahn Sung Ki will add "Spring In Seoul" in his career as a movie actor. He is also set to star in the upcoming films "Birth" and "Cassiopeia."
