Upcoming remake of the movie "Ditto" confirms its main leads!

The upcoming movie "Similar" unveils its main cast.

On April 14th it was officially revealed that Yeo Jin Goo, Kim Hye Yoon, Na In Woo, Jo Yi Hyun, and Bae In Hyuk will be the main leads in the upcoming remake of the 2000 film "Ditto." The remake of the movie will be titled "Similar." 

"Similar" will tell the story of the love and friendship of a man and woman from different times who happen to communicate through walkie-talkies. The upcoming film will be directed by Seo Eun Young ("Go Back" and "Overman"). This will be the first remake of the movie after 22 years. 

Earlier this month, Yeo Jin Goo, Kim Hye Yoon, Na In Woo, and Jo Yi Hyun confirmed their casting. Bae In Hyuk was the last cast to be confirmed. 

Yeo Jin Goo will play the role of Yong, a returning student in the mechanical engineering department. Kim Hye Yoon will play the role of Hansol, the first love of Yong. Na In Woo will portray as Young Ji, the friendly man in the group. Bae In Hyuk will play the role of Eun Sung, Yong's close friend that is also from the mechanical engineering department.

 "Similar" will begin filming this May after completing the final casting.

This will be the second film of Bae In Hyuk since his debut. He first starred in the 2019 film "Love Buzz." Aside from this movie, Bae In Hyuk will also star in upcoming dramas "Cheer Up" and "Why Her?"

Bae In Hyuk became more known to the public after starring in two dramas last year. He was part of the series "My Roommate Is a Gumiho" and "At a Distance, Spring Is Green." 

The actor made his debut in 2019. He was part of the dramas "Teacher, Would You Like to Date Me?," "Kiss Scene in Yeonnamdong," "XX," "To All The Guys Who Loved Me," "Was It Love?" and more.
