"What Comes after Love" starring Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro confirmed to premiere soon!

Coupang Play released the teaser posters for What Comes After Love and confirms its airing date.

On July 18, it was officially confirmed that the upcoming K-drama starring Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro will officially premiere on September 27. Coupang Play also released the teaser photos featuring the main leads. 

What Comes After Love will revolve around ex-lovers who have experienced painful love and separation. The Korean woman went to Japan to study and met the Japanese man and fell in love. After they separated, the Korean woman returned to her home country. The K-drama will base its story on the novel of the same name by Gong Ji Young and Tsuji Hitonari.

With the announcement of the K-drama alone, many are already anticipating the chemistry between Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro who are representing Korea and Japan.

What Comes After Love will officially premiere on September 27 at 8 PM KST. The K-drama will exclusively air on the OTT platform Coupang Play. It will have a total of 6 episodes. 

What Comes After Love is the next project of director Moon Hyun Sung. He is known for creating the films Seoul Vibe, The King’s Case Note, and As One. 

In the series, Lee Se Young will portray the role of Choi Hong. She is a Korean student who went to Japan to study. While she pursues her studies, she meets Aoki Jungo portrayed by Sakaguchi Kentaro. The two fell in love. Eventually, their relationship came to an end due to different views on love as well as other problems. After five years, Choi Hong and Aoki Jungo meet again but this time in South Korea. 

Aside from Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro, Hong Jong Hyun, Nakamura Anne, and Lee Bo Ram will also join the upcoming K-drama.
