Yang Kyung Won is in discussion to appear in the upcoming drama "Big Mouth" together with reported leads Lee Jong Suk and Girl's Generation's Im Yoon Ah.
Reports circulated on July 22nd that Yang Kyung Won will be added to the cast of the upcoming tvN drama.
Yang Kyung Won's agency History D&C confirmed the reports that the actor did receive the offer. However, there is still no confirmed decision and Yang Kyung Won is still reviewing the drama.
The upcoming series will revolve around a third-class lawyer named 'Big Mouth' who accidentally took over a murder case. He will try his best to uncover the truth in order to protect his family.
Lee Jong Suk is in talks to play as the lawyer known as Big Mouth. Im Yoon Ah got the offer to play the role of Big Mouth's wife named Ko Mi Ho.
Meanwhile, Yang Kyung Won was given the offer to portray the character of Gong Ji Hoon, the son of the founder of the Far East Ilbo, a big media company. He will play as the youngest son of a chaebol (conglomerate) family.
"Big Mouth" will be a collaboration between "Hotel Del Luna," and "Start Up's" director, Oh Choong Hwan and writers Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon.
Reports stated that the upcoming tvN drama will begin filming this year. Airing dates are yet to be revealed.
Yang Kyung Won became known to the public after starring in the dramas namely "Crash Landing On You" and "Vincenzo." The actor will star in the upcoming drama of Kim Soo Hyun tentatively titled "One Ordinary Day."
If Yang Kyung Won confirms his casting for "Big Mouth," this will be his fourth time working with top Korean actors. He previously worked with Song Joong Ki, Hyun Bin, and he will be working with Kim Soo Hyun and possibly with Lee Jong Suk.
