Yoo Yeon Seok will reportedly be the main lead for the upcoming JTBC drama "Understanding of Love."
On March 22nd several news outlets shared that Yoo Yeon Seok is returning to dramas through JTBC's series "Understanding of Love."
"Understanding of Love" will base its story on the novel of the same name by Lee Hyukjin. The series will be directed by Lee Hyun Jung and Jo Young Min ("Do You Like Brahms?"). The script will be written by Lee Seo Hyun.
The upcoming JTBC drama is said to be a love affair noir series. It will tell the office romance story between four people. The dram is set in the Yeongpo branch of Nara Bank which is celebrating its 99th anniversary.
Yoo Yeon Seok got the offer to play the role of Ha Song Soo, the third-year general counsel team at Nara Bank's Yeongpo branch. He is a person who's not easily swayed by the challenges of life.
There are no official details yet on the release of "Understanding of Love."
Yoo Yeon Seok has been receiving several offers. There have been several reports about his casting but according to news outlets, Yoo Yeon Seok's choice will be the upcoming JTBC drama. He also got the offer to star alongside Park Min Young in the drama "MonWedFriTuesThursSat."
The actor last starred in the hit 2021 series "Hospital Playlist 2." He also participated in the 2021 film "New Year Blues."
For this year, Yoo Yeon Seok will be busy with his upcoming Netflix original series "The Accidental Narco" and the upcoming movies "Puppy" and "Vanishing."
The actor also recently wrapped up his musical "A Gentleman's Guide."
