Another "Vincenzo" family member is booked for a new drama!
According to news reports on May 21st, Yoon Byung Hee will join Kang Ha Neul in the action suspense JTBC drama "Insider." This will be the actor's follow-up drama after getting known through tvN's "Vincenzo."
"Insider" will be helmed by Min Yeon Hong who also directed "Missing: The Other Side," "Touch," and more. The script will be penned by "Priest" writer Moon Man Se, while Ace Factory will take charge of production.
The upcoming drama will revolve around Yo Han, a judicial trainee who was tasked to do an undercover investigation. He will experience crisis and struggles that would change his fate while he's in prison.
Other confirmed cast for "Insider" include Kang Ha Neul, Lee Yoo Young, and Kim Sang Ho. It is also expected that Yoo Jae Myung will make a special appearance in the drama.
Yoon Byung Hee is one of many blessed actors who were immediately granted new projects after taking part in the recently concluded series "Vincenzo." Like him, 2PM's Ok Taecyeon also confirmed offers to lead a new drama, Kwak Dong Yeon became the new MC for a variety program, and Yang Kyung Won will join Kim Soo Hyun's upcoming drama. Yoon Byung Hee became well known to the public after his appearance as an office manager in "Vincenzo." He also popularized buzz words in the drama such as "Lawyer" and "President."
The actor was also part of several hit dramas namely, "Hot Stove League" with Namgoong Min and Park Eun Bin, "Mr. Sunshine" with Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Ri, "Love in the Moonlight" with Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung, and "Signal" with Kim Hye Soo, Lee Je Hoon, and Jo Jin Woong.
The drama is scheduled to air on JTBC in the second half of this year.
