On August 14th, the production team of The Day of the Kidnapping unveiled the main poster, featuring Yoon Kye Sang and Yu Na.
The Day of the Kidnapping is a mystery thriller about an inept kidnapper, Kim Myung Joon (Yoon Kye Sang), and an 11-year-old genius girl, Choi Ro Hee (Yu Na).
The Day of the Kidnapping is based on the novel by Jeong Hae Yeon. Kingdom director Park Yoo Young helmed the drama, and Kim Je Young wrote the script.
The main poster shows Kim Myung Joon and Choi Ro Hee on a journey. Traveling in a night bus, both Myung Joon and Choi Ro Hee seem cautious and tense, as if evading a pursuer.
The on-screen chemistry between Yoon Kye Sang and Yu Na is undoubtedly a highlight. Yoon Kye Sang takes on the role of Kim Myung Joon, an inept kidnapper. Driven by the need to secure funds for his daughter's medical expenses, he unwittingly becomes entangled in an incident, casting suspicion upon him as a potential murderer.
Yoon Kye Sang, a celebrated actor well known for his versatility, returns to portray a unique character, promising to captivate once more.
Yu Na's portrayal of Choi Ro Hee is equally anticipated. As a brilliant young girl, who has lost her memory, Choi Ro Hee navigates the challenges with a sense of cynicism and exceptional intellect, while forming a unique bond with Kim Myung Joon.
The production team of The Day of the Kidnapping conveyed their excitement, sharing, "In The Day of the Kidnapping, the novice kidnapper Kim Myung Hoon and the prodigious girl Choi Ro Hee form an unexpected partnership. Their journey will provide dynamic and engaging entertainment".
