@aannngggg512   they can't even understand how big Go Ahead is and they dare to criticise people complaining. That's their mentality

them and their superiority complex

them and their superiority complex

yes, but's more inferiority complex since they know they can't compete lol. ridiculous.  Let's hope at least it will be decent in the next episodes

It goes both ways. People who are tuning into this drama and learning it's an adaptation will be curious and may want to look into the original and people who have seen the original may want to watch this one to see how it is being adapted. As big as the original was, it's not as if everyone who watches dramas have seen the original. There are more people that can learn about the original and add it to their watchlist. Both dramas will benefit one another.

@ Chinese Empress:

What you are doing is beyond analyzing a drama. You don't just contentiously criticize a drama but you are also literally insulting and attacking people who doesn't agree with you by saying things like people who defend this drama has "very low standards" and can "accept any trash they find". I understand the original is dear to you and comparison is inevitable but no need to get so upset over an adaptation. Just move on from it if it's not to your liking.

Your first paragraph: THIS.

The second: Another voice of reason, while that one account continues with the same comments just reworded.

 Annette:
Guys listen, this is supposed to be a friendly discussion

Sad when all of the comments are lumped together when it's been clear who has been un"friendly".

friendly discussion when people can't even complain about the trash of this drama. Hypocrisy at its best.

Having read these views, I will have to watch Go Ahead...  Is it the better version or not?

YES. it's the best

I think how the characters are portrayed so far makes sense as it pertains to the story and how it was set up.

I 100% agree, but the people here made the post to completely destroy the remake, They're not actually interested in any view that changes the OG version, which to them was already perfect. In fact, in one of their profiles, they're very anti-Korean.

I was a tomboy while growing up with a mother. But, these people have a certain stereotype in their minds and will not be swayed by reason or logic.

 aannngggg512:
she was raised by a single father and surrounded by 2 men and 2 boys. Ju Won being girly without mother figure is so out of character

I had a mom till I was 9 and I was a tomboy. She left then, so she gone during my teen years when I was a girly girl. Your logic does not compute in the real world.

Just be aware that it has a NonCon scene when the ML kisses the FL while she was sleeping.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'm good with it, so no worries—just glad to know what to expect!
Just out of curiosity, how did you handle it?

Frankly, I was pretty surprised by the scene. What I loved about Go Ahead was the how the two Dad juggled raising the 3 young kids (pretty rare in Asia, I think) then seeing their closeness through their high school days. I loved how protective the boys were towards Jian Jian. The romance was awkward IMO. I didn't have a problem with it as some people did - some called is incest which it's not. Incest only occurs for blood relations. Also, Jian Jian and Zi Qiu, I considered siblings since they had the same Dad. Ling Xiao, I considered their upstairs neighbor who was their very close friend, close enough to call older brother. Ling Xiao lived with his own Dad.

Excuse me, this post was made to be a friendly discussion about how the remake compliments the original and also to talk about what changed between juwon from FBC and jianjian from go ahead

I'm a person who started go ahead after hearing that Hwang In Youp would be in FBC which is the Korean remake of Go Ahead, i didn't know anything about the cdrama before that, what I feel is that, through the kdrama more people would find out about the original and would want to know what the original was like

I finished Go Ahead last week and I loved it dearly, I was very impressed by the emotions portrayed by all the actors and the way it all gelled together perfectly but that does not mean in any manner that i hate the remake or that i cannot accept it.

@chineseempress please don't come here only to spread hate, if you don't like the drama don't watch the drama, don't watch the drama just to spread hate -because maybe you are doing it because you get a sense of satisfaction out of it -but a lot of people have put in a lot of effort into making FBC what it is and every change made was made the best interest of the show, if you're going to keep comparing FBC to Go Ahead just go watch Go Ahead again don't watch FBC

stop hating on a show just because you're prejudiced

Agree with you, they are not blood related so it is not incest.  I'll finish watching Family by Choice and then move to Go Ahead.  I have a few c-drama's and k-dramas going at the same time.  😂 I need to keep track.

it's non-logical
