Male Actor Comparisons

Has anyone noticed that almost all male cdrama profiles have kpop fans saying they resemble a kpop actor? Like what is the point of this comparison? Do they think omg, if we like this cdrama guy, we'll automatically swoon for the kpop one? You never see that stuff on the flip side.
