Q: Is The Land of Warriors (TLOW) the continuation of Douluo Continent (DC)?
A: No, it isn't. TLOW will follow the original work storyline. Easier to say, TLOW will adapt the second part of the story. From the final tournament arc until the end.
Q: Do I need to watch DC before TLOW?
A: No, you don't have to. DC only adapt the character's name and power system. It has a totally different characterisation and storyline from the original work. I'm sure you'll be more confused if you do that.
Q: Then, how do I understand the characters' background if I didn't watch the first part?
A: I believe TLOW will handle this with flashbacks. But truthfully, the 1st part of the story is more about their school and training years. It maybe isn't important towards the main storyline but more towards the bond between characters.
Q: So, we only witness them during their powerful years? No more training and teamwork scenes?
A: No worries. You can witness all those moments during the Sea God arc. That arc is total epic. Ask all Soul Land donghua (animation) fans about their favourite arc. Most probably they will answer Sea God arc.
Q: If I wanna watch the donghua, what episodes should I watch before watching TLOW?
A: My suggestion is EP 01 until EP 102. It seems a lot but each ep only 15 mins exclude the intro and outro. And the ep before TLOW timeline is all free on WeTV. If you want to skip the ads. Just use the block ads extensions.
Q: Who is the actor that plays Oscar?
A: Cao Zishuo. He's a new actor and this will be his first drama. Unfortunately, MDL hasn't approved yet the profile that I've submitted.
Q: What is Tang San's character?
A: Solid, powerful, calm, loyal and protective. Tang San and his teams will not have a major character development because he's the one who will bring out the best in people around him. Their power, character, romantic and platonic relationship dynamics all have stabilised in this season.

- Ended with a cliffhanger
- Different storyline from the original work

- Different T1 storyline which is the foundation of the story
- No need to watch DC to understand TLOW
- No need to watch TLOW to get the answer regarding DC's plothole/ending
