The most disturbing thing about this drama has been how the fact that Hong Ju's fiance was allied with a TRAITOR TO THE KING was just completely ignored.
Jang Tae Hwa and his son (Hong Ju's fiance) were helping murder the king and install his brother in his place. Shi Yeol killed Hong Ju's fiance because he was in the middle of trying to kill the crown prince, Kang San. The very same crown prince that Dan Oh saved, later fell in love with, and that everyone in the Ihwawon Inn was trying to put back on the throne!
And yet, Shi Yeol is treated like the mass murderer, and the fiance is totally romanticized.
