I remember this one drama where the leads' friend dragged both of them to get an STD test, cuz she wouldn't get with him otherwise but I cant pinpoint which one it was for the life of me ughh╰(‵□′)╯

Literally every single Japanese (love) drama conveys this: As a good member of society, you should put work/career/company(/society) before love/private matters. That's why, for example, in most of them one of the main characters goes abroad (to advance his/her career or gets promoted and has to work further away in another part of the company), no matter what.

Don’t know if it counts, therefore I’ll list it as a bonus (example drama: Rich Man, Poor Woman (if I remember correctly))

Bonus (since it's a movie and I want to recommend it):

Better Days is a movie about bullying. It starts with a bullying victim's suicide. In the middle the lead bully dies. And in the end another bullying victim (fl) is identified as the killer. In the end of the movie, before post credit scene, there are various notes about the tightening/development of criminal procedure law on bullying in China. (Pardon my bad English)

4. Tomorrow - every episode revolves around different topic in the Korean society that can cause someone to want to end their life. the whole series has the agenda of preventing it and show why life is worth living. some episodes also have their own message, like the one with the veteran that was all around respect and honor for them.

5. TharnType - I think it was getting checked for STDs..? The leads both go to get checked and then a couple of nurses who work in the hospital they go to talk to each other about the importance of getting regular check ups with your partner

6.  17.3 About Sex -

Coming of age stories about growing up.  Message promotes that talking about human sexuality is not taboo & there are many things to learn & that questions/curiosity are normal.

(Bonus) Since there are many....(that I can't pinpoint) that include a suicide hotline # for viewers to call either at the beginning or at the end of the drama if they need to reach out to someone.

7. A Time for Cats & Dogs -

Documentary on animals abandoned in a dwindling population village.  Animal abuse awareness.

8. Death‘s Game (S*icid & consequences)

9. Best Choice Ever

The whole drama emphasize the importance of career and money for a woman. It's a female empowerment drama.

The grandmother (a divorcee marry at the old age to a widower) who lives in nursing home is hiding her assets from the late husband's family. The mother is a poor housewife who wants her daughter to marry rich. The daughter is a kind soul who thinks being supported by man is an embarrasment. The daughter's best friend is a divorcee who doesn't have career or money to support her son so she let her ex-husband take the custody.

Bonus (since it's a movie):

Your Name Engraved Herein is a movie about gay rights.

It's about the hardship and bullying of gay people during late 1980s which makes a boy disregards his feeling towards his friend and insists on having straight relationship with a girl but then they get divorced as told by his ex-wife in the end of the movie. There's one scene in which after this boy and his friend pay tribute to the late president (based on real life event), they meet a gay rights activist (based on real person) being captured by some police officers for protesting with banner.

Taiwan legalized same sex marriage in 2019, being the first country in Asia doing so.

10. Daily Dose of Sunshine - raises awareness for mental health

10 titles in which immortal people who look young have some habits of actual old people

1. My Demon - ML is 200+ years. He's a hoarder, like an old man

2. Goblin - MLs who think that app store is a real store

3. The Legend of Shen Li (ML is the last ancient god. So he looks younger than he actually is.  Especially at the beginning, his behavior is very similar to that of an old man (Walking /moving slowly, speaking thoughtful,..)The best thing is: the more time he spends with Shen Li, the livelier and more animated he becomes ❤️ )

4. Century of Love ( I only remember that I thought „kudos to the actor“ cause as a young guy, he portrayed the old age behavior pretty well)

5. My Love from the Star - Original Korean version. He's a young looking alien stuck on earth until his people can come back for him. He likes to quote old literature to the FL, doesn't have a 'hand phone'... Sorry, he's not immortal, just a long liver.
