I could say that the synopsis is the most important thing for me.IThe first thing I am always doing is informing myself about the content .But mostly of the time I have a closer look to Dramas with an eye-catching art sure are getting me more interested but I just don´t like these short synopsis that are saying absolute noting about the main point of the Drama.Lately I have begun to choose my Dramas from the actors/actresses I am interested but when the synopsis isn´t my thing then I don´t watch it mostly of the time^^ It is really weird but I always tend to make my own view of everything just because of the synopsis, cover, cast etc..and then I will look if it proves wrong or right :) I guess I have got used to reading and relying on the synopsis because I always do that when reading books too. Before I have been an Dramaaddict have I been an Bookaddict :D The revies are only a plus when I just don´t can´t imagine anything from the synopsis or the cover. When it is like this than I am relieved that there are people who are writing them ;)

Sometimes it's a combination of synopsis and the poster (I have to admit historical dramas have some awesome posters, even if the drama later turns out into something that I'm just not interested in. I have to watch it as soon as I see the poster...Aigoo).

Other times is the cast.

PS: I just totally noticed this was in Japanese dramas, my comment about the posters don't apply to Japan because I've never seen a Japanese period drama. But that will change as soon as the Taiga drama my Shota-kun is in gets subbed.

Should I ask Skye to change this to the general Asia forum?...lol *He is gonna start ignoring my PMs if I keep asking him to do that...lol*

Haha Yeah I think it would be better suited there, since it's a more general sort of topic. And High 5! I'm glad I'm not the only one influenced by the "pretty pictures" :p

I don't read reviews either before I watch a drama because some are full of spoilers. It's kind of annoying.
@Lis:The only historical japanese Drama I like is "Gou~Himetachi No Sengoku".I absolutely love it and I can only recommend it :)

I'll see if I give it a try after I watch this year's Taiga.

I love the fog, but I love the clothing and her hair too. Those are what caught my eye. Which drama is this?

The Moon that Embraces the Sun. She's wearing the Shaman clothes if I'm not mistaken and they are quite eye-catching. I went "Ooh, pretty!" LOL
