If I hadn't already moved to a decent place, I'd want to move to your country, because apparently voting matters there. Doesn't in the country I originally come from. Votes are bought and sold and if push comes to shove, manipulated and falsified. I wish this is just overreacting and that we all do have control over our governments, I'm just not seeing it.

But even so, every country has a lot of idiots. That does not mean everyone is a moron by default and definitely does not justify generalizations about any nationality or their wishes. There are many at fault here and yes, audiences do play their part as well, but they're definitely not the main perpetrator. So let's not jump at American throats lightly, when this is a far bigger and more global thing, in this case and in general.

You point at America because it's a superpower. But that is all. Farewell MDL. I hope you don't crash and burn but I guess this is a Non-American place.

Hon, as offensive as that was, you're doing the same. You're making general assumptions about an entire website because some users dislike your country or have a different opinion. I'm sorry, but let's be fair here. You are both talking in absolute terms, about topics which aren't as simple. So do lighten up and stop fighting. Do it through private messages, if you have a problem with each other.

As for talking about this, yes, Dramacrazy is not the end and their practices are questionable, but nothing came out of not discussing our problems. Today Dramacrazy, tomorrow a lot more, maybe even legitimate places. I don't think having international fans' concerns heard and discussing about this between ourselves is somehow bad. Remember, not everyone has other sources, not everyone heard about this hours ago. It's someone's right to not give a damn about this, but others have a right to dislike what happened too.

Maybe if we'd spend more time bonding as a fanbase instead of having dog fights over which site is better or which community is cooler, or, as we're seeing here, over which countries are nicer and which citizens more awesome, we could have more useful insight and arguments for people with more power and influence in these industries.
lol are we still talking about this ... shouldn't we all move on already lol

True. Let's. I still think DC needs to give their explanation though. Given its years in the community and how sudden this was, the users and fans deserve this much. If there was force involved, it should be known as well.

Completely Agreed. Hopefully, DC will explain themselves later on.
I just found out, and I'm in a state of shock. I keep on refreshing the page hoping to see that it was all a terrible joke :( Does anyone have any good sites that they use besides dramacrazy?
I didn't intended to move that discussion in that way, and I never thought this one comment could lead to that reaction. Because of that I apologize, the part about revolution was really not necessary. Yes this is a complete complex matter. The reason why I stated that comment was that you can't only blame big corporations, and america is a democratic state, where you are able to influence what's happening. The reason why we even got to that topic is, because we are all shocked that dramacrazy shut down and this has a lot to do with american copyright laws, hence from the discussion I observed it also concentrated on that. If I have misunderstand something and american copyright laws and politics have nothing to do with this shut down I apologize, again. (and yes, I also have a lot to blame in my country, I am doing that at least once a day and if you want to hear it you can always message me, why my government pisses me off, but in the moment all of the other countries or mine beside korea and japan doesn't have so much to do with takedown of Dramacrazy.)
the number of likes on the page that facebook page which dramacrazy asked us to like had drastically increased, when i first clicked the link it only had about 900 now it jumped upto almost 6,000 which really does go to show how popular the dramacrazy website is

and for those just finding out about this now heres a blog with other drama websites listed

I'm so depressed about this. I only trust a few sites because others have put viruses on my computer. DC was one I trusted and now I have no way of accessing many of my favorite dramas. I don't understand torrents at all, and I am afraid of downloading files that may be infected or video watching programs that might be infected as well. I was so excited to get my computer back, and now it's just a waste.
oh no.... where I'm goin to watch a drama.. I was devastated knowing that dramacrazy is shutting down. T_T

No your not. I started watching Anime and Drama 6 years ago, and in that time AC/DC has been there the majority of it. It's sad to see it go, it was probably the most extensive collection of Japanese Drama's and Movies in general. I stopped watching there awhile ago, just occasionally go whenever I have the urge to watch a movie or a Japanese Drama. I watch drama's on both DF and Viki, but more to the point on Hulu, the majority of drama's available at either DF or Viki are available there. Another reason it is sad, is because folks like me who won't download anything anymore for free, and don't have money out the wazoo, didn't really have other options.
