Thank you for your participation in my previous thread. That was in anticipation of creating this poll that even the laziest of MDLers could participate in. Your previous comments have all been included in this poll.
Once again, I believe strongly that only dramas with an excellent plot can ever come close to a 10. All the other factors I do consider important. I perhaps place least importance on genre and idol.
I agree with you that you can't reach something near 10 without an excellent plot ! But I voted for acting ^^. If there is bad acting, I can't get into the drama or it will be hard to finish it :/ (Generally I skip most of the scene I don't want to watch) I appreciate when there is a good camerawork and a good soundtrack. The other things are not really important for me.
I was fighting between acting/plot/scriptwriting but I gave my vote to scriptwriting because if the writers are geniuses they can make failure actors stars and they can make the plot gripping whenever they want so they deserve the vote. My least important thing would be soundtrack and idol.
Definitely the characters for me. I've watched the most ridiculous plots and suffered through really weird scripts because I just fell in love with the characters. There's nothing more important than that for me. If a drama is otherwise perfect and I don't like the characters, I won't bring myself to watch it. ;)
I love every drama with great character but I think idols are important in a drama !!

Agreed on every word. Characters can remain forever in the collective imagination, long after a plot, the acting, the photography or the direction are forgotten.

I wish there were more than one choice, though. I'd gladly give second place to scriptwriting and third to acting. :)
I think Acting = Plot.. If one is mediocre or really really bad, nobody would rate it 10/10 or even 8/10. Good acting with bad plot = meh. still can stand it a bit Good plot with bad acting = what a waste. But I'll go with acting. I don't really mind if a plot isn't that good given that the actors/actresses did a good job, but the acting... If the acting done in a drama is really bad, I probably won't finish it.
