if i only watched 2 episodes then i'll drop it, but if i'm at 5 episodes, i have to finish the whole thing, but i'll often skim through it
Mines the perfectionist reason... If I've spent a good few hours watching a crappy drama I might as well finish it so I know the ending. Then I will at least have a justified reason to hate the whole damn thing. Although if within the first 30 minutes of the first episode if I don't like it I'll put it on hold (and probably never finish it :P does that count as dropping? :P). The only struggle I have with finishing dramas is when someone spoils it and you're halfway through -_____- to drop or not to drop hmm..
i always drop dramas when i get bored of them look at MDL
I usually don't waste time when it comes to dropping a drama. Usually with irritation with the main character leads me to drop an okay drama.
IF I continue a drama, it's because it's decent enough to kill some time watching, or because I'm hoping it improves. Otherwise, I have no problems dropping boring/stupid dramas.
It's rare for me to drop a drama. Most of the time I will continue on with the drama even if it's bad, as long as there is hope for it to get better.
I don't easily drop dramas. When I get bored, I put them on hold first, and usually I continue later. The only one, that I dropped was Flower Boy Next Door, Enrique annoyed me and I didn't like Park Shin Hye's acting, although I really liked her before. I forced myself to watch for a while, but from ep13 I couldn't endure. Itazura na Kiss - Love in Tokyo is on the right way to be dropped, too.
I will drop dramas if I find it's not grabbing my attention but I don't drop them easily. I won't skip to the end to see what happens. I just forget about it and move on. I have only made one mistake in watching a drama which I should have dropped but didn't. I've learnt from that mistake. I don't have time to waste on watching dramas I don't enjoy so I'm very selective with choosing them. Movies on the other hand are different - I'm not selective, very random and I don't mind making mistakes in choosing wrong ones :)
i only forced my self in big.. thats all
I am forcing myself to watch The Heirs right now, pretty much. But it's okay since I love Woobin and Krystal and Minhyuk and this sounds like I like idols more than real actors but no. Anyway, if it's really bad and I am literally falling asleep while I'm watching it, I'll drop it e.g. Panda and Hedgehog (I don't even know how I got up to like 10 episodes), Love Rain - for some reason I just couldn't finish it. I AM SO SICK OF GARDENING.
Usually I make my opinion about some drama when I've watched like 2-4 episodes of it. I just feel bad if I drop it right away and even worse when I've watched it more than just one episode and then I drop it. And I actually haven't dropped even a one drama, ever. I just force myself to watch it because it just feels bad to drop something XD I give them like.. new opportunity and I try to find something good about them, the dramas that I don't actually like that much.
I only (?) dropped 4 dramas. I did force myself to finish some dramas but those 4 had something that just couldn't do it for me. I can't even remember Zettai Kerashi but I do remember how bored I was while watching it (and I was really bored, really really really bored.). Personal Taste and Prosecutor Princess both had unbearable lead actresses that made me hate the whole thing and Stand Up!! failed so hard to make me laugh... and it's a comedy. Even Shun oppar couldn't make me finish it.
Whoa, I do the exact same thing! Although I sometimes forget about that certain drama and end up finishing it years later or not at all..

jdrama wrote: I like finishing everything I start. If a drama is boring, I'll just put it on hold, and finish it when I have free time, but I'll never drop a drama. Idk. I just like being able to say "Oh, hey, I watched that drama already" but I cant say that if I didnt finish it right? If i already spent half my time watching it, i mine as well finish it. Also, I can never be able to say a drama is bad until I finish it all the way through yanoe?
