My ratings are fairly high because I don't force myself to watch something if I am not enjoying it. Dramas are a huge time investment and there are so many of them, I have no reason to finish something just for the sake of completion. Sometimes I will put it on hold and try to approach it later with a different attitude, but I drop a lot of things outright (more than my list shows) if it doesn't suit my tastes.
I can't leave things incomplete so even if the drama is dragging I still force myself to sit and watch. That happened to me with Midas, Iris 2 (I seem to not be used to the pace of Jang Hyuk's acting, don't judge me) Athena and Time between dog and wolf recently. But I still continue to watch in hopes of something good. At least those 3 I mentioned started getting 'good' after some boring episodes. Dramas can't be left incomplete in my book seriously.
i complete not because i'm a perfectionist nor do i have alot of time or waiting for something good. For me i just cant drop until i know how it ends.
I usually don't drop things, because I want to know the whole story before I form my opinion.
I drop dramas whenever I get tired of the characters/plot and feel like the whole thing is pointless or I won't feel curious as to how it will end.
Once I start a drama, I'm basically stuck with it. I hate leaving things undone. So yeah, I force myself through horrible dramas and make myself suffer. Yeah, something is wrong with me.
I will always excited to new thing happen so continue the drama.....
if i hate a drama i just skim it through until the end - im the type of person that needs closure. i only drop a drama if somebody annoys me. I can bear with mediocrity but i couldnt stand an actor/actress that i hate in dramas.
Yeah, I can never just drop a drama. I have to see it through until the end. Sometimes, once you get past a certain hurdle, it ends up being better than you thought it would be. Even if it ends up being as bad as I think it will be, I'd prefer wtahcing a bad drama 'til the end rather than wondering "What if?". I'm the same exact way with books. I can never leave a book unfinished.
I drop dramas all the time My top reasons are: -I was trying really hard to give it a chance but it just didn't work out -Long dramas that lose their focus #1 Too much emotional turmoil (this happens with melo-dramas mostly) ie. wicked vindictive characters, too many secrets, blackmail and lies etc... it's too much grief for me
if there was a button like "you put it On-hold cause you can't drop a drama but you also know you are never going to finish it" i would choose this one.
I usually don't drop them that easily. There's always something that keeps me doing. There are a few exceptions where I could not finish it for the life of me, but I simply delete them of my MDL records and move on with my life :) I have to finish said drama to truly have an opinion about it, essentially.
I try to finish most of what I'm watching but if it just becomes too much of an annoyance and can't take it anymore I have to drop it. Most of the time I'm dropping a show is when I fall asleep half way through at least 3-5 episodes or it takes more than an hour to finish an episode. I started a drama on Monday, got halfway and finished the other half Tuesday. I did the same thing on the next episodes when finally it was just taking too much of my time
When I first started watching dramas I wouldn't drop them. . then I watch a few that left me shaking my head and regretting my decision to continue. I am not willing to drop dramas.

HOWEVER! I know this is not the best attitude, but I have completed dramas for the sole purpose of rating them.  I recently watched a couple of dramas that were rated high 7's. . . Both of which I found to be almost torture to watch.   I felt the need to complete them so that I could state my honest opinion.  If I drop them then I may be doing a disservice to someone else who is considering watching it. . .  or maybe I was just being a jerk. I can't decide.
Depends. If the drama is terribly bad then no. By that, I mean if the characters are all acting retarded and doing the dumbest stuff. That's something that pisses me off and I won't watch a drama that pisses me off.  If it's boring, then I'll find myself fast forwarding through most of the episodes. I could try to suffer through it, but If I can't then I just drop it. I tend to not like dropping dramas. I'd like to finish them no matter how horrible they may get, then I can give them a terrible score later, but I hate when I start something and don't finish it.
Still, I like to look up dramas before I start watching them...
