Have you ever watch or heard about ASEAN drama and movie?

Well since mydramalist is dedicated site for discover Asian drama or movie and ASEAN is part of it so i make this thread. If there is similiar thread please merge it I thinks most asean drama is soap opera so i don't really watch it in Indonesia you call it sinetron, in thailand lakorn cmiww. Indonesian drama was popular in Malaysia i think, I remember my malaysian friend talking about drama calles Bawang Merah Bawang Putih long time ago. I also watching Thai and malaysia drama or movie airing in local tv channel when I was kid but i couldn't remember it now. I'm indonesian so i watch a lot movie such as Rainbow Troops (Laskar Pelangi), The Raid : redemption, Macabre (rumah dara), Forbidden door (pintu terlarang), What's up with love? (Ada apa dengan cinta) etc I enjoyed watching Thai movie too like Alone, secret Billionaire, Crazy little things called love, suckseeds etc For others country unfortunately i never watch it. So, Do you ever watch or heard about ASEAN movie/drama?

I don't recommend any Indonesian sinetron anyway XD it is too soapy with exaggerate story with loooong episode suit for my granny taste but not mine :D but i do recommend Indonesian movies. I wanna to try thai lakorn bcos i really like thai movie mostly i watched horror, romcom teenage movies, can you share the link of thread or are there any title you wanna recommend for me? It's hard to find Asean movie/drama with english subtitle actually.
