Hi everyone!

I wanted to first share this with you. I've recently been thinking of making a Historical C-Drama Challenge as I really like historical C-dramas, and wish to watch more of different historical periods.
I got inspiration by ciliolindemberg's List of historical c-dramas ordered by historical periods.

But because I've never made a challenge before I first wanted to check with you all if you'd like it and if you have any suggestions/advice :)

I'll probably share the challenge later in the MDL group on Feeds

No because I included a section in the Mandarin Challenge for this because it was something I wanted to explore more, especially after seeing that very same list!! AN AMAZING IDEA!! Thank you for making thiiiisss!! 💖

Sorry I didn't mean to ignore you. I've been home with covid for the last 9 days and trying to catch up on MDL.  Yeah, Pearl Girl seems like a girl power drama, which I'm usually up for, lol.

Good luck with the challenge! It looks impressive to me. I know very little of Chinese history or the dramas, so I'm not much help at all, lol.

I'm sorry to hear you're sick. Take a good rest, eat nutritional foods, drink your medicine, do some exercise, and drink a lot of water.

I'll join as soon as I find all the titles I want to watch from all 26 specific categories. I'll check all 2877 titles from the reference list.

Maybe I could also include some of the titles from my drama discovery challenge into this historical c-drama challenge so it'll be killing two birds with one stone.

Also for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, Ciliolindemberg made an updated chronology of Chinese history in his lists and I've updated the challenge based on this. It does not have all those sub-categories which makes it easier and more organized and it has the dates of all dynasties. I'd recommend using the updated version, but feel free to use whichever you like! :)

(I've kept the earlier version in the challenge as some of you may still like it, and I've received feedback that those sub-categories may help with finding dramas for certain periods)
