Do you think Romcoms are too many in Kdrama?

This is not in a bad way. I'm just curious if anyone thinks that there's too much emphasis on romcoms in Kdrama, that much attention is not paid to other genres?

I feel like, every year, after watching one or two popular romcoms, i should be able to find more action, historical, and thriller ones, but it's not always the case.

I read somewhere that romcoms could make up to 72% of Kdramas. Don't know how true it is.

But does anybody else craves for other genres?
