So, I actually started reading it awhile back, and like barely reached a 100 pages, but after seeing your post (not your comment about the flashback but the post itself), I decided to give it ago again. And now I am almost at page 400 (in a day I finished like 200 something pages), and I just wanna say wow. Like just WOW. This author is amazingly talented in building worlds and characters and all the plot twists are mind blowing without being unrealistic - like I think to myself "how the fuck did I not see that coming..". Then again, I am just enjoying the story without overanalyzing, but like WOW. For once in my life, a story made me look forward to flashbacks because I really wanna know the backstory behind Xie Lien with other characters and his reason for doing the things he's done and everything, and your comment made me even more excited. One day, post COVID, I will track down this author, and shake their hands just to tell them how amazing and talented they are.
Thank you so much for getting me inspired to continue reading it. Although seeing its length, it'll probably take me longer than usual to read it, but I am loving every second, and I know just like the untamed the series, I should value how long it is, because once it ends, I will wish to experience it again with no memory of it!
