Omg omg

I am currently reading the manhua & relistening to the radio drama over & over.  The tower sequence in the previous adaptation is still my favorite with the added scenes and YBC in the snake torture was much more brutal yet satisfying to listen especially Nian Muning expressed her hatred by  joining the torture & expressed her distain after listening how she obtained the heart protective scale & the love tread.  Tantai Jin finally defended Ye Xiwu against her then forbade her from mentioning her existence before leaving her to rot was satisfying.

I wished Nian Muning was in the c-drama instead of her brother.  She at least tried to do the right thing for TTJ then YXW and would never betray him even if their tribe were held hostage.

Hearing how Tantai Jin sacrificed himself in OG ending was much sadder for me because how he said the similar line in such innocent tone:

 "Susu, this life is so hard...but I don't want to die."

"Don't worry, this time, I won't leave you alone."

"Yes..."

@AiNong aawww there there! Hugs!

The ending of TTEOTM is truly devastating because we are rooting for TTJ+LSS to have that clear cut HE. It was an artistic choice of the production team to make it an OE for a more lasting impact. Now that I think about it, they are right because even after a year many of us are still here. Haha!

Like you many of us were ugly crying and devastated so the only way I could cope at that time was to read and post the HE chapters from the novel. Give those a read and see if it helps you, too.

As for that kind of love, it would probably require life and death situations like you said. However, don't settle for mundane dating. Do what feels right for you.

Xixi went above and beyond in  his TTEOTM roles. His chemistry with Lulu and their acting prowess really elevated this drama. Frankly, the immortal arc was choppy coz of max 40-eps rule but they still made it work. I loved these two since Love is Sweet.

Finally crashing here. Haven't heard the audio yet.. stil calming down myself 😂.  I tried to watch their bloopers scene, and it's actually help to recover -a lot-. I'm laughing..Give my tears back 😆

I agree with the author opinion about : It does not say that love can save everything.....It is about many people who sacrificed their lives, devoted their wisdom, and devoted themselves to it regardless of the outcome. In the end, the river was diverted and the fate of the world changed

Somehow this story is more similar to real life and not that fairytale that mostly end in Happily ever after. Maybe that's how this story really left its stamped in our mind (or me particularly 😂).  Because, yes, not everyone could get the HEA they want, but we could still turns whatever our 'ending' as our 'accepted HEA' and be content with that.
