Hi, I am an older woman, who discovered K dramas, thanks to Facebook, when a couple of excerpts from Empress Ki came up , I was so curious that I then went on to see where I could see this fascinating looking drama. Imagine my suprise when I discovered that NEtflix had it, as did a couple of other forums. I then immersed myself in the first few episodes, then life took over, my work got busy, I got a grandson that was dangerously ill at birth so I put it all on the back burner . Since then everything has gone great, said Grandson has blown away all the neurologists and specialists he had, ( he started school recently) he is 5, and he runs everywhere he goes. , and talks non stop I have since semi retired ( a whole other story as to why I told my employer to shove the job after 15 and 1/2 years ) anyway, the pandemic hit, I finally had time to sit down , and immersed I became, as I went back and rewatched Empress Ki. ANd wow, just wow, that was over 500 different series and movies ago, lol . I very rarely if ever watch anything western anymore, Its Chinese and Korean all the way. I prefer Korean, though I have to admit, that I have a few favourite Chinese Actors that I must watch. Johnny Huang is one, I leved him in Addict, Moonshine and Valentine, and Lucky, My dear Guardian and of course Love designer. THen there is Yang Yang, Yeshe was good in Love o2o , but he was amazing in You are my glory, and I cant forget Young Song Weilong, he was great in GO ahead and find yourself.
Yes I have my very favourite South Korean actors too, Lee Jong Suk, Lee Joon Gi, Kim Rae Won , Song Kang Park Seo Joon, Song Seung Heon, Joo Jin Mo , Jin Yi Han ( yes I know , too many) lol, . I have a very tolerant husband who has even got a couple of posters I was given, Framed for me, and apart from some very unwitty comments at times ( although he and my sons think he is funny) he never comments on what I watch. I have introduced more than a dozen people to K dramas and they are all addicted now.. So I am furthering the cause. I apologise for any typos, I have severely dyslexic fingers, I can hand write almost flawlessly, but fingers , with a keyboard,,, Mmmm
