While watching Hiru No Saint Zake I got quite sentimental wanting to go back to Japan again to visit the local sento bath houses. It's one of the best way to get into contact with locals. I always got into some conversation visiting one of those in the local neighbourhood even in the big cities they still exist. The entrance fees are really low and it's so nice to have your milk or a beer after the bath with the locals. The mentioned show above isn't really super special, but serves to show that culture and introduces a lot of bath houses.
While looking for other dramas or movies covering that I found that link here recommending some movies I still haven't watched, except one. So if you've got any additional suggestions or just enjoy that bath culture as much as me and wanna talk about it...would be interesting to know...
