Hetushu has been acting strange lately. It keeps asking for human verification. I like reading from hetushu bcos it has night mode. Also there is space between the lines and paragraphs so the words don't feel so stuffy. The translation is also easy to understand.

One thing I noticed from reading novel from different websites:

1. Although it is the same novel, different website has different translations.

2. One website might be missing words or have more lines than other website. This is due to the revisions by the author, but she sometimes forgot what she had originally written.

I originally read this novel from hetushu, then when I feel I don't quite get the meaning, I check 2 other websites to see if there is any difference in translation. This is where I noticed.

Another thing. This is a long novel and the author herself was confused with her own characters. She often wrote the wrong names ?

Oh, I haven't read it on other websites, and tbh it's been a while since I've read it. I didn't finish it though. I ended up skipping around until I got to parts that interested me. Like the part where they are at some noble event and the half-sister gets jealous because of how everyone is treating the main character, then she makes some excuse to go home which ends up backfiring. Or the part where we find out our main lead is pregnant. Or the part where the male lead's 'half brother' (hint hint) bites his dad.

Rant: I'm rereading parts of the novel, and it's annoying to me how SY barely gets any punishment and SH basically takes all the blame. SH is evil, but SY should have suffered me. Does anyone feel the same way? 

Well he got the karma though. He can never speak again and became a crippled man. Yes he didn't get punishment from the crown prince, except losing his position from the army, but that karma is enough for Song Mo to control the whole mansion. No one feels sympathy to SYC. Also it was Dou Zhao who gave choices to SYC to choose between his reputation or Song Han. For a useless man like SYC, reputation means more than his sons.

What confused me the most is the last paragraph. Who is Ding Wei??? There is no one named Ding Wei in the novel, especially died from overeating??? What? ?‍♀️
