and i gotta admit the first half shinji showed abit of innocence with the whole flower thing and pointing the gun at rara, but seriously cant believe he just shot her like that ... its really making me think twice

He is truly psycho. One minute he's bringing flowers to the woman he professes to love, pretends he's concerned then slaps her. Threatens to put her in the torture box... He is unhinged. He teeters on the sanity line constantly falling over the edge and trying to right himself. It's fascinating to watch his descent I admit. Love to hate him kind of character.

That kiss was too soon. Right after her discovery of his being Gaksital, he's injured and I could go on about the timing. But even if the timing seemed off it was still a disappointing, old school, dead fish, Kdrama kiss. :( I hope there is a juicier, more passionate kiss to come.

ahaha as much as i hate what he does, i cant seem to hate him he is making it reallly enjoyable to watch, the way he try to justify what he does is truly interesting.
The kiss is def too soon! horrible timing! we know KT feeling and it was shown through out the last few ep, but MD feeling needs to mature some more ... "i hate you! oh what your bridal mask? I LOVE YOU!" -.-

Thats the feeling it gave me, too.
And Kang To even tells her that it was his bro at the beginning. Somehow the romance didn´t get to me, but the storyline as a whole is really good.

Love this drama....

I love watching Park Ki Woong's portrayal of Shinji. I think he is doing a great job of playing that character. Shinji has totally lost his mind and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

Maybe that is why the kiss wasn't very passionate. Neither one of them are sure about the other, but old feelings of finally finding the person that they have loved since childhood is still there.
i might be inclined to believe that there was a reason related tot he story that the kiss wasnt passionate if this wasnt a k-drama. i have seen too many k-drama kisses that looked like they were the culmination of a weird game of truth or dare where you are some how forced to kiss your cousin to buy that THIS one awkward kiss is plot related.

Ditto. I don't think it was plot... I'm not sure what it was except for a falling back into the old Kdrama standard of dead fish kisses. ;) I'm with you on this one. although the timing did seem a bit awkward, I don't attribute that to the lack of passion in Mok Dan's response.

With Kdramas you really never know what you are going to get when it comes to kisses. I think it's a combo of the direction and/or the comfort of the actors/actresses doing the kissing scenes.

Exactly, if he could kiss he should've been able to stand on his feet not to mention that he fell off his horse yet he could've stand back up to hug and kiss *another sigh*

also, Shunji Shunji Shunji, how friggin delusional are you that you **bring flowers to woman that spat on you and you slapped**

You know what, i'm a bit disappointed in Shunji because beside Kang To in the first episodes he's the smartest character in this drama with all his plots and tactics yet he was played by Mok Dan all along that made me feel really bad. It was clear that she was lying and manipulating him all along yet he didn't even want to suspect her while he doesn't give second thoughts when he suspects Kang To (who was once his best friend. Damn, Shunji is being blinded by love *sigh*

I felt like she haven't delivered a lot since she found out about Kang To being Gaksital but she did lie in a good way in order to mislead Shunji.

if i can cut her out of this drama i would ~sigh~ all i need is KT and Shinji

I too think the kiss was a bit rushed. I wanted her to be torn just a little bit that the man she was in love with (gaksital) is the man she hated (Kang To). But their time together in the grass (gratuitous romantic drama moment) allowed me to understand why she gave in so quickly. To me it could have been interpreted that she was in shock. How she said she hated him so much and turns out he was the one she was looking for.

As for the kiss, if it was more passionate then it would have been weird since he was so severely injured. I’ve become used to the zombie drama kisses. I blame them on the actresses most of the time. So many actors, Rain, Eric, Park Shi Hoo, seem like they are giving their all and not receiving anything in return. Maybe it could be that they aren’t able to separate themselves from their character, the fact that that they are publicly kissing a stranger in a society that isn’t very open to sexuality. Or maybe it’s that they are so in awe of who they’re kissing haha, case in point, Daniel Henney kissing Lee Na Young’s grin as she giggled while he tried to kiss her. Only those truly great actresses who totally become their characters seem to be able to pull off a proper kiss.

Gosh I love crazy Shunji. I laughed when he came in with flowers. I thought “wow this dude is totally off it!” And the slap of the snitch girl was hilarious too. It was like a reflex. I bet he couldn’t recall he did it later. He’s getting more and more frustrated and frustration makes people do strange things. I can’t wait to see what happens next!!
