DO you like Historicals that much : you can give it a go but there much better historicals out there.
You're interested in the story: Watch the japanese version because it's short and much interesting (in case you loved the jversion, be my guest to watch this)
I am a die-hard politics fan but I didn't manage to be interested in many political events, i skipped most of the parts so if you're watching because of politics, it would be a bad idea.
If you're watching because of actors (which was the reason i watched this), a big no! I don't have problems with acting skills , i have problems with characters development. Yes, Jaejong was good as an actor but SH didn't convice me in any way (only looks :D)
I have a strict rating too, i gave it a 5 because of some interesting political events, some respectable emotions and some good characters.
I stated my opinion, of course i won't force you to watch it or drop it. It's all up to you ^^
couldnt have word it better myself, addressed all issues about this drama. Altho the reason why i started this drama was because of the interesting plot, and since i'm more interest in k drama over j drama i decided to watch this instead of the J version .... and the only reason i actually finish it was just find out what they plan to do with the ending...
