Well, ya know, sometimes people are REAL sensitive about their dramas. I didn't want anyone to attack me... well they could have but I wouldn't have cared. lol

And I can agree with the above quote! I can tolerate this drama because at the very least, Arang is strong and assertive. I can always support that kind of heroine! :-)
I love this drama. And I can understand why you would go for Ju Wal. He's so pityful. Really, he only wants to be loved but he chose the wrong person to get love from... Too bad but well it was his own choice. I like the Arang/Sato relationship. They both have each other's back and even if they are rude, it's because they worry for each others not because they despise each others, so I find it cute. I totally agree on the fact that this drama is not sexist at all, and I love that about it too.
somtimes you're mean to a person b/c you dont want them to know how much you care. sometimes caring feelis like losing, or like that person would have power over you if they knew you cared, esp if you dont think they care as much as you do. some times it's easier to be mean than to risk being hurt again. this is what's happening b/w Sato and Arang. they both care alot for each other but Arang, a ghost looking out for herself for 3 years, isnt one to depend on other's quickly and she's pretty sure Sato's just helping her b/c he wants to find his mom. when she feels for him, she wants to stuff it down so she doesnt get hurt. The magistrate experiences the same thing. he worries that she really has a thing for Ju Wal and is only concerned with solving her own mystery, this combines with the feelings of inadequency and abandonment he has from being the bastard son of a slave who abandoned him, so when he worries or misses her he doesnt want to tell her b/c he's affraid she'll be like everyone else, not love him and then leave.
Ugh...they used the same song in the fight scene again in ep. 11....I wouldn't mind it so much if this was a modern day drama, but it just feels so out of place for me... Edit: I just don't know why, but I can't take LJK seriously. He was getting his *** kicked and I was laughing...LOL!
squeeeeeeeeeee...episode 12!!!!! I love the dynamics of this drama. I found the song from the fight see out of place at first, but it has grown on me and I like it now. I am a bit worried about how it is going to since it is a 20 episode drama. I sincerely hope they do not drag things out and keep it fresh.

Don't get me wrong, for me the song would be perfect for a fight scene in a contemporary drama. If I listened to rap, I would probably actually like the song outside of a fdrama. But in this one, it just takes away some of the historical feel I love.
There was a rap song in Chuno (MC Sniper) & it went really well with the drama/action scenes so I guess I am used to it lol On another matter the bridge over the lake scene in ep 12 was simply beautiful (I couldnt find screen caps to post here) & is one of the reasons I like sageuks the scenery is always so beautiful.
it was awesome, i want to go sit there all day.
If you haven't watched ep. 13-14, don't highlight~
This just got more serious than it was - EunOh saw her~! I am afraid of the next episode...
I am not sure what MooYoung told EunOh before entering the cave about the teacher who gave EunOh the fan, but I am guessing he told him it was the Jade Emperor (even if he hasn't I am sure it's Jade Emperor who taught everything to EunOh, I AM SURE~!)
Other major development - there are times that EunOh's mom's soul tries to chase away MooYeon from her body... that is interesting, which are the times of her weaknesses?

At this time of the drama, I am guessing, maybe Lee SeoRim committed a suicide? I am thinking she got somehow caught with EunOh's mom, and somehow knew what was going to happen, either told SeoRim to better kill herself, or did it herself, that is why MooYeon ended up in EunOh's mom's body instead of SeoRim's... I am not sure what nobleman Choi was telling MooYeon, but she remembered SeRim, that means they have had a meeting... I'll be more clear after reading the recap...
*****
I still think that Eun Oh is going to finish that woman off, it's not a coincidence that he have jade emperor belongings but at the same time Moo Young won't sit back and do nothing.
So ever since the beginning the Jade emperor was using Eun Oh as his back up plan; he saved him from death then trained him and gave him that fan only to use him later on...
