So I just read all of your comments and I have to say that I agree with most of your opinions: The stabbing scene was ridiculous not only because Eun Gi didn't notice or because of the unbelievable fact that Ahn would get his hands dirty but also because Ma Ru was stabbed in his freaking back or side!!! Come on, we're not that foolish, how could they show us his injury in the front? That was really absurd.
Spoilers ahead!!

I can say that I wasn't disappointed in this drama because I never actually expected anything from it; I literally lost interest ever since Eun Gi had her brain damage, I truly believe that's the main wrong turn in this drama because I seriously wanted to see a well-written revenge plot for the three of them.
Then, the main characters were never appealing to me: starting with Ma Ru who left his sister to die in order to save his lover (Yes, that's a fact that I will never forgive) going to Eun Gi who was a b*tchy rich girl who treats her brother in a bad way and hates her father (unethical moments that I can never forgive too) .However, she fell head over heel for the prince charming and decides to give up everything for him ending with Jae Hee who wants to go up no matter what heads she has to step on.
Basically, I didn't hate the way characters started the drama but what bugs me the most that they never changed through the whole storyline?s development; they never learnt from their experiences and kept on doing the same mistakes over and over except that Ma Ru fell for Eun Gi and that the B*tchy character became an innocent cat without much expressions but at the end Abracadabra, everyone's character changed to become perfect. I only liked attorney Park and I still believe that he's too good for this drama an there were Choco and Jae Gil too. Let?s not forget that the melodramatic atmosphere was absurd.
The end was very rushed because the writers just wanted to end it happily in order to make fangirls jump off their seats and give the straight 10's that I saw all over the reviews (no offence) but let's admit it, it was a huge ridiculous fan-service. I did rather that Ma Ru died instead of rushing everything in 15 minutes. Oh, I still don't think that Eun Gi deserves to raise her brother.
Oh, Jae Hee killed a man then she participated in killing Eun Gi's father, she confessed that she was the reason of attorney's Park accident and she only gets seven years while Ma Ru gets six years for killing a man without intention?! South Korea's law system must be messed up.

At the end, the reasons I didn't drop the drama and gave it a 5 (mostly 4.5/10 so I may change it to 4 later) are:

1) Attorney Park, Choco and Jae Gil?s presence.
2) Joong Ki was good here not only as a pretty face but he's a good actor so I was surprised to see this side of him after Sungkyunkwan Scandal.
3) The steamy kisses.

So as a conclusion, shallow feelings rated this drama 4 or 5.
Ohhh Rou I do adore you...you gave good points for steamy kisses :)

Me too.... Song Joong-ki was excellent .
i tried to finish this last night, but after 30 minutes of episode 17 i just couldnt bring myself to do it. i'm not one who wont watch after spoilers if i like a drama but this is just BAD. i here by state this drama was Bigged. they HAD it, in the 1st five episodes THEY HAD IT! all they had to do was let it play out Bad Guy style. they actually could have taken a lot of liberties here since 1. it was a Makjang and 2. None of the main triangle were particularly likable. they could have taken these characters all kinds of dark and twisty places and those of us not watching JUST b/c Joong Ki is dreamy (and he is OH so dreamy) would have watched with rapt morbid curiousity as these three shredded themselves against one another. that is the drama i was promised by the synopsis damn it!

lol I like your reasons for not dropping it I think mine were the same & yeah I agree although Jae Hee was the obvious baddie in this Eun Gi wasn't a saint by any means either & the way she treated her little brother before the accident was deplorable.

I was fully prepared for a Bad Guy style ending & yeah I agree the drama didn't live up to what it promised ...REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[spoilers!]

Just finished the last episode, it kinda left me feeling empty.. But I am soo happy for Marus happiness so I wouldn't have it any other way! (Besides, endings that actually leave you satisfied is rare to overcome, right?)

Well, MOVING ON! The opening twist was genius, the best moment of the whole series if you ask me.

And LASTLY! I am sooooo happy that the couple rings he bought didn't go to waste, I thought it was such an shame back then, but finally they came to good use. Such an nice detail. ~

Now I am moving on to Missing you.
(literally) ;)
seems like there are alot of ppl who either loved it or hated how this ended. tho it does seem like the bigger the expectation the bigger the disappointment. alot of ppl were expecting a good guy and a bad guy type of thing and since it turns out different everyone seem to have lost interst, i never had that kind of expectation and i guess for me i always thought JH had some good in her...which might be the reason i enjoyed it alot more. I do agree the ending was rather rushed and wasnt fully played out however it is def not bigged, Big had no ending it left us hanging. There are def some holes here and there but personally for me i love this drama, it kept me interest and excited to see the next.
This drama had me captured from 1st episode till the last that I finished this in one sitting (yes! getting up only to get food & go to restroom & yes, I've done this to other dramas' too). Though I love the ending, I feel like i need a special episode to explain to me: 1.what happened to the most coveted company that was the center of greed (Tae San)! I thought Eun Gi was not giving it up? 2.Kang Ma Roo had amnesia too? So, did he remember Eun Gi when he gave the ring at the last part? or did they start again? 3.It was mentioned that both of the main lead resides in a small village..where Eun Gi sells food that Kang Ma Roo really loves, does this mean that Jae Hee's son is also there? Who's the girls Eun Gi was carrying on her back? There could be more questions since I really feel that the ending was so rushed but this can't be said to have the same ending with Big. Big ending was a BIG disappointment or shall I say, there was no ending on it. Anyways, I love this drama. I give my thanks to everyone who made it possible for me to watch it.
am still n ep.18 after reading all ur comments, like i don't have a courage to watch it for now,coz i know in just 2 hrs am going to feel or ask same question as u guys...anyways thanks to all
I agree the ending of IM cannot be compared to Big that was just non-existent lol
