And.. isn't this thread too much of a spoiler one?

very spoilers every where every post lol
Just watched episode 7. Kind of a *down episode, imo. I loved the parts with MaRi, but on the whole, the mood shifted to sad on sad on more sad. I can understand why, it's just the show lost a lot of the humor which is in it within the conflict of the characters. I'm hoping tomorrow will give us a more delightful episode, but I'm not sure if that will happen. I will say, though, that I'm loving ChoongShik.*

These are my thoughts. Read with caution.

i agree but more like they are trying to bring out the issues each character have.
and for me i'm really loving the gym teacher scenes "love, love, love" that background music cracks me up

I've thought about it more, and now that I've thought about it, I was probably a little harsh in my above review. I still think that it's a little too melo for my taste right now, but I do think it is necessary.
I like the gym teacher scenes too. Sometimes I'm liking the supporting characters more than the mains.

I forgot to mention this above, but *when MaRi gave DaRan the talisman, I honestly had a BoongDo moment, lol.*
Why is it when a man is "peter tapped/ cup checked/ asked 'What is the capital of Thailand?'" in a Korean drama they pat the guy on the backside...
robbery scene was done so bad -_-

Almost forgot. lol
Yeah, can't wait to see that too. :p
To be hones, the drama overall is pretty good, I like it but I don't have a hell of a good time watching it. I hope that I will get more into it soon.

What are you talking about guys? This scene was a masterpiece! I'm still crying and can't stop, it was such an emotional scene. And natural, too, because it's just normal that you go home around midnight, then you hear someone shouting "HEY, YOU!" from behind and then, the last thing you know is that this someone just shot you. Because you just have to kill someone you have to rob and of course you do nothing about witnesses - robbers leave them alone so they (witness) could live on with a tragic past. And if such a witness is lucky enough his body might get switched with a body of some doctor in Korea and he might fall in love with this doctor's fiance and... Do I have to go on? It's an average day in LA. And yeah, of course one of the robbers has to be black, that's a rule.

I am all caught up to this drama now and am liking it but it does not have the WOW factor that Greatest Love had for me. It's okay. It's entertaining and I really like Gong Yoo's acting. I mean that sincerely. I know he is hotter than hot but he really is a great actor and I just love his ability to be comedic and turn on a dime and be serious. He is so great in this part. If it wasn't for him and some elements of the plot, I would drop this. I am sticking with it for now.

Having said that...that robbery scene was horrible. Spoiler* Calling from behind and saying "Hey You" and then firing the gun?! What was that? The kid was standing there endlessly/witnessing their faces. NO second shot to get rid of the person who could identify them? NO asking for money/jewelry/wallet/watch? Nothing? Just... Hey You and Bang! It was horribly done. It was sad about his mother and I was touched emotionally but...*** It was filmed/executed very very poorly.

I couldn't agree with you more here. It completely ruined the emotional undertone that this particular event has on Kyung Joon's life.

At the very least they could have made up a different story for the shooting: Perhaps someone wanting her to move her shop, some motive of jealousy or something? I don't know...or given it a few extra seconds for authenticity and asked for her wallet or the honking big pearl necklace she was wearing!? Maybe she could have asked her son to "run!" I don't know. It was just weird. ** Oh well... Poor Kyung Joon.

On another note...
I don't know who I am supposed to root for in this drama. Gil Teacher and Kyung Joon? Gil Teacher and Yoon Jae? No one and no one?

I am all confused. But still...Gong Yoo is a joy to watch and Suzy's crazy girl is so fun. I love her.

I'm for Gil Teacher and Kyung Joon still, but to be honest, right now all I want to see is Choong-Shik and Mari. I love Suzy in this.
