My time spent for each episode I felt shortchanged, betrayed /deceived by the Hong Sisters. I could forgive minor flaws in the drama but not the lousy ending. I invested a lot of emotions on this drama. I waited for it and religiously watching it after subbed available. I love Gong Yoo on top of all korean actors I know. Gong Yoo and I both deserved a better last episode!!!

Drama had so much potential going in and then... Two of the biggest events happened offscreen--the wedding and the body switch. I mean, did they even really switch bodies? We never saw it happen, Ma Ri said it happened (and we all know how reliable she is), and they never show us his face. We never had Seo Yoon Jae's side of the story. What happened to him after the switch? What a waste of time and emotions!!!

Right!!! I'm worried about how long it will be before Gong Yoo is in another drama. Maybe I will just rewatch Coffee Prince. Geez!!!

here is the thing... There is nothing more unforgivable to me in drama land then the writer treating the audience as stupid. I can forgive cliche's, makjang, a silly plot or even an over the top evil antagonist. But being treated as stupid is the WORST.

1) They set up the whole drama as one where due to the soul swap Gil Da Ran began to fall in love with the much younger Kyung Joon. Part of her journey was to reconcile herself to the fact that she was falling for a much younger man and ultimately how she would handle the consequences of that once his soul was back in his younger body. After sticking with this drama for 16 episodes we, the audience, were cheated out of the ultimate end of both of their journeys. WE were treated as if we were stupid and could not handle seeing the older Da Ran with the younger Kyung Joon in his rightful body. I don't know about any of you but as much as I love Gong Yoo....We deserved to be shown this REAL version of their end.

2) We were cheated out of a reunion between these brothers whose parents treated them like chess pieces in their game of "Let's create another human being to serve one purpose...Save Yoon Jae". Why did we get no closure for these two brothers? Not even one real interaction at the end of the day!? How could there not have been one scene between them?

Okay..I shall say no more forever and waste no more time. But these two glaring omissions along with all the other craptacular plot holes (Take the fact that she MARRIED Yoon Jae while Kyung Joon was in his body!!! How would that have messed with Yoon Jae's head upon waking?) make this one of the worst dramas I've ever seen. That is saying something.

Could not have said it better myself!!!
I'm sorry about the mulitple posts...I don't know how that happened and I tried to delete them.

Purplenette, don't worry so much about multiple posts. If you do it once in a while no one is going to get upset with you. I would hate to see you delete all the posts you are making. don't sweat it girl...just don't do it "all the time". ;)

I really want to know why Hong Sisters wrote such ending.. at least they must be thinking it was good... so I want to know from someone who liked the ending; which aspect was good?because I hardly find any.. :(

*well, at least for the ending of FK, some people even loved it...for WR, I didn't dislike it...but this?I haven't read any positive comment.. :(

i was one of the loudest detractors of WR's final episode. but THIS crap, it makes the ending of wild romance look almost desirable.

this ending is so bad it will become a verb "oh, yeah, they totally Bigged that"

Bigged, verb- to have a a real chance at something and then screw the pooch so royally you can never show your face again.

I am so adopting this! This is going into the MDL Dictionary RIGHT NOW! and if you are aware of how behind I am in adding MDL phrases and words to the dictionary...you understand how much this means.

I'm watching old Running Man episodes to take my mind off of it, but here I am thinking about it again. It kind of reminds me of the ending of Fashion King. I hate endings that don't answer all of my questions.

That's exactly what I thought when I watched the ending too. I felt it was downright disrespectful to the viewers; basically, I felt the Hong Sisters were saying in the voice of a parent who highly overshelters their children, "I don't think that they are mature enough for this ending. Let's do this, and perhaps they will understand that Da Ran is with Kyung Joon."

On top of that, as you said, there was no reunion with these two brothers that had been hinted at for a while. After all, it looked like Yeon Jae was going to LA in the beginning to find Kyung Joon; wouldn't his quest to do so be that much more important after the accident, body switch, and the big reveal by the parents? Even when we got the underwater universe scenes, we had Yeon Jae interacting with KKJ in Yeon Jae's shell while the real KKJ lay on the bed blinking.

I had really high hopes for this drama at the beginning. I had just finally finished Coffee Prince and was incredibly excited to see Gong Yoo in another role. Though he did a great job, most everything else lacked.

I had just got over my post-Big rantface, and now it's back. The more I think about this drama, the more frustrated I become.
