[Discussion] Panda and Hedgehog

Cuteness overload..but I am loving it!

I was so looking forward to this I ♥ CJH & i liked the lead girls turn in The Moon Embraces The Sun.... I have just seen first 2 episodes & what a TOTAL let down the script/dialogue is all over the place I have no clue what is going on its just a mess.......such a shame i was anticipating the gawjuss Choi Jin Hyuk in a new drama sadly its not meant to be .... :(

Yeah, the writing is a bit messy. And tbh, the acting's not that great, either. The cuteness is enough to carry this drama for now, though~ And I hope it stays that way; at least bad writing and acting are fixable, but a bad vibe is impossible to fix.

Well, maybe messy's not quite the word for it.
I'm not sure who the writer is, but based on my impressions of the first few episodes, I'd probably assume it was a relative newbie to writing for kdramas.
So, I guess it's more lacking in complexity than messy?
... Wow, I'm not really selling this drama well, am I? 8D

Don't get me wrong- I actually like this drama, so far anyways (I'm hoping this doesn't come back to bite me in the butt later on).
I think it's main problem is that, like a lot of shows of its genre, it suffers from being built more on "moments" than on a well fleshed out overarching plot.

did anyone realize that the supporting casts were from It's Okay, Daddy's Girl? or i'm just too late? i'm reallllly glad with that because the IODG was a great drama for me. XD i love all the cast especially Oh Yi Na~~~(Won Il's sister). she was so cute with Donghae in IODG.. anyway, that aside, about the acting, yeah i'm agree with everybody. Hae has improve but at times he's awkward. he's good with adlib tho.. the female lead is just average. so to actually enjoy this drama, just put aside the acting in term of technicality. *hiks* when u actually love all the casts & the storyline, everything else doesnt matter anymore. =D

I like episode 6 because there is more panda/hedgehog moments. i like this drama because it's nice, and simple, even if i don't understand the past of seungji and won II. maybe they will give more explanations on the future.
