When you are watching a good drama, do you tend to binge and watch them all as fast as possible?  Or do you tend to savour each one and take your time to enjoy each episode?

I always tend to binge, watching 2,3,4 episodes in a day as I can't wait to see what is coming next.  But for the latest series (Signal FTW!) I'm slowly enjoying each one, even taking a break for a few days.

What do you like to do, and what do you see are the pros and cons of each approach?

I usually binge. I prefer marathoning series when they are over and watching one at a time. I have even finished 9-11 episodes in a day before, but usually I watch about 5-6 a day unless I'm very busy (where I watch 2-3...).

I was actually thinking of attempting to watch a currently airing show just to see what it is like to wait week after week for the episodes. But I do tend to get bored of a series if I take too much of a break.
I can't help but binge if its as good as Signal. I remember I finished Signal like in 2 days. 10 episodes a day.
I rarely watch more than one or two episodes (of the same drama) in a day*. Sometimes more. I also usually have at least four dramas on my currently watching list. If I like the drama a lot, I can watch three or even four episodes in a day, but the more I love a drama, the more I want it to never end. So I usually watch the last episodes slowly and take a few day's break, even if I completed the first half of the drama in a day or two. I feel torn between wanting to keep watching and watching, and not wanting to reach the end, and the second feeling usually wins. :) I don't mind watching currently airing shows (unless the subs are coming slowly, then I get impatient).

* Normally, if I'm not very busy, I watch 2-3 episodes in a day, it can be the same drama or three different dramas. I only watch more if I have a lot of free time, but I do like it when that happens :). When I'm very busy I don't watch more than about three episodes in a week. My watching style is very different from Kanra's! :)
I guess it depends on the genre or pace . Since I often watch suspense, psycho, thriller or crime dramas, then I binge watch them because I get too excited. Like now, I'm watching Tree With Deep Roots, and I can't stop clicking the next episode lol. But If its generally, romcom or melodrama and the like, I would slowly watch then because they're slow-paced.
I usually binge. Sometimes I do marathons like watch one drama in two days :,D It's because I can't wait to see what happens next and then it plagues me in my thoughts when I try to conclude if it's going to continue this or that way xD
I agree with @ScarletStar.  It depends on the genre.  If it's a romance, I'll probably binge unless I'm bored to death with it or really busy.  If it's a thriller/psychological drama that's especially dark, I'll probably savor it.  They're still equally interesting, but the emotions get too heavy in the dark dramas and I have to pace myself.  I'm watching Punch right now, and I can't push myself to watch more than two episodes every few days.  The drama's great, but my poor heart can only handle so much.

Binging is awesome, but sometimes I end up getting annoyed at little things by the end - like if they keep repeating a plot or get especially trope-y.  If I savor the eps or watch a currently airing drama each week, I'm a little more forgiving I think.
It depends on the drama honestly.

I binged Mirror of the Witch, but I feel like I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I hadn't  On the other hand, I binged Queen In Hyun's Man and still completely loved it.

If if a show has it's repetitive moments binge-watching it can really bring that out and make it seem boring.

Im watching Empress Ki slowly, but that's just because of how long that drama is lol
Thinking about it, when I binge watched, things all tend to blend together and I don't remember as much.

But I agree it depends on what it is I'm watching though.

p.s. I'm amazed and secretly jealous at some of the responses above - how do you fit in 10 hours of watching in one day??  :D
I don't sleep much so am often up at night when nothing else is going on. During the day, I don't watch many episodes at all.... maybe one or two at most. Most of my drama watching happens from 10pm-6am or so.
I always binge watching kdramas. but when it's weekdays I can watch 3 to 4 hours a night coz I need to work. But when its vacation I can go up to ten hours without noticing it..hahaha.. But Cruel City Kdramas isthe only one that I savour. I watch 1 to 2 episodes at a time coz its freaking good.. So I savour each moment..
I love binge-watching. I can watch 10 or more episodes if I'm not at work. 2-5 sometimes, if I have things to do.
When I really like a drama, I don't stop until I finish. Then if it's really good, I'll rewatch it to my heart's content.

When I watch a drama during its airing, I tend to drop it. But there are dramas I can't resist following. :)
