I can't be the only one who felt like kdramas were there to give advice and comfort when no one was. I recently wrote about it in my blog about 4 life lessons that I learned from kdramas. I'm just curious to know what your thoughts are. Did you learn something from kdramas? Like Ji Chang Wook is the best?

Here is the link to my blog post

That was funny, Panda!

I recommend watching Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim. You'll be overwhelmed by the life lessons it provides.
if your hair is curly, once the man you love confesses his feelings, your hair will turn straight overnight.

it's important to have two complete wardrobes of clothes, one for your day time, one for sleeping.  Also you must never turn off the lights

peripheral vision stops working when something important to your life is happening just over -->there

Yeah I feel like Signal (2016) has taught me that my choices are not my own, they don't just affect my life they effect the ones around me too. Nice article by the way
Uh...make sure to cover your forehead with bangs?

seriously xD

So many kdrama where Both the guy and the girl has their forehead covered with bangs
Make sure to NEVER pick the supportive guy who is always here for you selflessly~ but the guy who has made you cry at least a dozen times since he's met you.
Always be aware of the in-laws~ they control everything from the background. Especially if the dude is rich.
Relationship started with a stupid contract? Congratulations! You've just found your future husband for life!
Honeymoon will probably just consist of y'all just doing your business under the sheets. Suffocation is a link after all.

Okay~ I'll stop now. I think my sarcastic arse needs to sit back down.
I was an IT employee working 12 hours a day regularly for 15 years . Few months back I quit my job to take a break and I suddenly have lots of time in my hands .It opened up a whole new world of dramas.

KDrama may not have taught me life lessons, but I still learned a lot, more about how different cultures are, how languages spread etc. For example, Umma, Appa,  Ammoni, aigoo etc  heard commonly in Korean are straight Amma, Appa , Ammani and aiyoo in Tamil( A south Indian Language, which is considered as a classic language). I see how they sit /sleep on the floor, which is also similar to Tamil culture.

Seeing Thai lakorn, I see how similar the traditional architecture of wooden houses in Thailand and Kerala (another south Indian state) are. In traditional Kerala houses we can see charupadi(it is a wooden bench attached to the wall) which is very unique to them. Although I have travelled across India extensively, but never see similar architecture anywhere in India outside of this small state , Imagine my surprise when I see them in Thai lakorns!. I see many flora which is native to south India in Thai dramas.

How can I forget Oppa Gangnam style?  After staring to watch KDramas, I could finally make some sense of what he is singing.

Kimchi and Gochujang are a staple in my kitchen and my husband and kids learnt not to open the kimchi bottles.  My cooking skills now includes Korean and Thai. Looking at Kanata's omurice in Girl and Three sweethearts made my mouth water and I had to find recipe and make one immediately.

I see awesome refrigerators shown in some kdramas and wonder why I dont see anything like that in India or US.

Life lessons or not, dramas make my life very colourful.
Oh and nice coats and jackets are a plenty in Korea apparently! :D
A sentence that I really like in "Beautiful mind" :

"Someone who can drink alone has nothing to fear, because that person has figured out the secret of life. They've figured out that you're alone in this world and that life is bitter."
@Fati~ Thank you. You've just reminded me of my life motto. (Although I don't drink alcohol)
