Exactly, romance in this drama is boring that's why action should be the main point here. However, I am liking the fact that Yu Gun and Yun Hwa are going to team up soon, they're my favorite characters in the whole drama.

And may I say that Shi Hyuk is a twist that surprised me in the latest episodes? He kind of remind me of TOP's character in the first season: a cold hearted killer.

As much as I liked watching the last ep, as much as I think that writers decided to go with the easy choice: Kill the male lead. Of course, Yu Gun was sick and he can die at any moment but they shouldn't finish him off that way.

I think the ending of this drama is making us expect another season which I am not very hyped about but if it has to be done then make Sun Hwa and Yun Hwa the lead and bring back Park Cheol Young, I had high hopes that he's not dead but they didn't show him alive at the last ep, he's my favorite character from the North along with Sun Hwa and Yun Hwa, I always thought that the North had better characters. The only character that I really fell for from the South was Yu Gun, he's an awesome male lead, probably my favorite male lead out of all action dramas male leads, the man knows how to act action!

On another note, I always kept wondering why there's a character named Hyun Woo in this drama? (the one played by DooJoon), he's such a waste of space! I seriously don't know why did they include him as one of the main characters, such a bad actor an character!
I also keep wondering why do all female characters in both IRIS and IRIS 2 are better than the female lead? In the first season I liked Sun Hwa better than the female Lead and in the second season I liked Yun Hwa better than Seo Yun. I always thought that the female characters are badass including Kim Tae Hee while the female leads weren't good enough when it comes to action.

On a final note, after watching both IRIS and IRIS 2, I think I liked IRIS better because the first season had a well written storyline while the second season had better action scenes and characters developments. I enjoyed the second season through its ups and downs and I admit that the part where Yu Gun lost his memory and shot Seo Yun was one of my favorite parts along with his teaming up with Yun Hwa and the latter's meeting with her sister but I hated the fact that they killed Park Cheol Young, I still have some hope that he's alive.

So now, I think we should be waiting for IRIS 3,...

Totally agree with everything said above except that I liked IRIS ans IRIS equally :)

Just finished this..i'm late to the party. I enjoyed it, but the questions from the first season weren't really answered imo...hope there's an Iris 3.
