Badass FL and an even more Badass ML?

Do you know any Korean drama where the female lead is tomboy, and hot-tempered while the male lead she will interact is equal to her in character if not even worse? They may be in a gang or not related at all.

I browsed through my watched list but didn't really find any series with your description - except that I second neo's recommendation. But instead, here's some movies with strong female leads:

I third Lawless Lawyer.

Maybe try Iris. The FL and ML are both spies or something like that. The FL is the Team Leader and I think she has as higher ranking than the ML. I haven't watched it myself but it's high on my to watch list. Apparently, it was so well-received, they made a spinoff movie and a second spinoff series.
