[Discussion] Nail Shop Paris

I'm so glad the raws are finally out, I hope that means subs will come out soon after. This drama looks really good. Has similar vibes to Coffee Prince. I'm excited. ^^ I just wish Song Jae-Rim didn't cut his hair. *sobs*

I was pretty excited about this drama, but I have to admit I didn't like it as much as I hoped. But, Kei (or Kay) is definitely my favorite one so far. ^^

For me this drama is OK... it's could be better but since it's only 10 episodes i'm OK with it!
i think jin looks like jeremy in "you're beautiful" ^o^
and there are 3 men and one girl disguised in man lol

so i see it like that:

Jang Geun Seok (Hwang Tae Kyeong) --> Song Jae Rim (Kay)
Park Shin Hye (Go Mi Nam) --> gyulee (Hong Yeo Joo)
Lee Hong Gi (Jeremy) --> Cheon Dung (Jin)
Jeong Yong Hwa (Kang Shin Woo) --> Jun Ji Hoo (Alex)

But the couple is different here!!!

I prefer the first one^^

I was wondering if this drama can be different from "you're beautiful" or "to the beautiful you", but I see that firstly they copied looks from "you're beautiful" like gonju said. For now I'm really disappointed, cause the story is not so good, instead of other people's problems scriptwriters should focus on main leads... Besides, acting is so stiff and unnatural... But I'll give it a chance, maybe there'll be some improvement...

I am sad about Song Jae Rim's hair too. It was so lovely! But his character is my favorite. And how the heck is this like You're Beautiful? I think you're thinking of Coffee Prince because the only way it resembles You're Beautiful is the cross-dressing. Besdies it's a Kdrama, pretty guys are pretty much mandatory. XD

My theory is maybe they are hoping for a second season? Because I dunno how they're going to accomplish everything with 10 episodes. I was surprised by that amount. I almost thought Nail Shop Paris was a JDrama since usually JDrama's have short ones and Kdramas have long ones.

When I am looking for something light, I will probably watch this.
