So far I'm hearing/reading ravingly positive reviews of the first episode! I felt so tepid about the premiere episodes of Warrior Baek Dong Soo that I'm REALLY glad to hear that Spy Myung Wol is just as fun and quirky as the teasers made it out to be.
Just watched the first episode, will wait to watch 2nd till its subbed.. All I can say is, it has potential, and there were some funny parts, but overall the first ep was pretty serious, mainly because of the introduction to the characters.. I am looking forward to ep 2..
Spy Myung Wol, from the 1st episode, i think there's something wrong with the director or the editing, coz the plot changing scenes seem odd, not connected, for example when Eric go home from dance practice, the assistant, Eric's shower, etc.

However, i expect some funny parts from this drama. From the 1st ep some LoL scenes exist, but haven't made me LMAO nor ROFL yet.
Spy Myung Wol fighting! :)
Omona! Really funny! This drama i begin to like it.

ep.2: Coz of Myung Wol's fault, she want to redeem herself by getting back the old book from famous actor Gang U. So from North Korea, she went to South Korea.
Tailing everywhere Gang U goes, finally at filming location, accident happens, she saves his life, being in hospital, she pretends to be crazy after invading into Gang U's house.
The message code transferring between NK's agent to the North make things mess up. An order to kill her immediately.
The second agent being dispatched. He carried double missions, but the feasible mission that everybody knows: BRING GANG U TO THE NORTH KOREA, BY MYUNG WOL MARRYING GANG U IN 3 MONTHS.

this is HER OWN MISTAKE by flying to South Korea without permission from above. CREATING 2 STRANGERS TO BE MARRIED & BECOME HER PARENTS; & MAKE HERSELF TO BE MARRIED WITH GANG U IN 3 MONTHS.

Her weakness: act first without thinking.

This becomes more messy.

GANG U & MYUNG WOL are KISSING, but they don't love each other: just acting it out. Omona! how come instead of acting in movie/drama, in real life still pretending kissing! [not love & not love = hasty grab her & pretend kissing, but really kiss her]

I do like to continue watching this, hilarious drama again eventually! (^_^)b
How come this drama isn't more popular than this? I'm done with the 4 episodes available and it's getting pretty good (preview of the upcoming episodes at the end was O_O).
I just started watching this yesterday, I'm on episode 4 now. I think the main idea of the story is a little ridiculous, haha, I mean she's part of a spy team called Anti-Drama and she's trying to eliminate Kan Woo. Instead of killing him her mission changes to marrying him within 3 months and persuading him to go to North Korea. I had a little trouble following the first episode, but I'm still watching it. It's actually not too bad, and it is getting better (:
Really liking this drama! It's so hilariously tongue-in-cheek (Anti-Drama, indeed XD). And the leads being pretty doesn't hurt at all :D It could become disastrous on the serious parts, but hopefully they handle it well.
I just finished episode 4 and I do think it's starting to get more interesting (: I'm starting to like it haha
I love this drama. I've watched all 4 so far. I started watching for Eric, but I thoroughly enjoy it anyway. It's lighthearted, hilarious, and you don't have to think too much about it. Plus Kang Woo (Eric) and Comrade Ryu are hot.

I hope the "serious" parts are done like the rest of it is done...a bit farcical. I love how they take military action for an utterly ridiculous reason like Dr. Strangelove, are totally serious about it, and make from of dramas in the process, like when Myung Wol is practicing her high-pitch "oppa" and wondering why that would ever work.

I can't wait until the next episodes.
I love how they handle all the cliche situations. They aren't actually all real, but set up by the spy team. My favorite was when she went around dressing up and jumping in and out of Kang Woo's schedule in order to create the illusion that he can't stop thinking about her by confusing him into believing that he's seeing things. That made me LOL so much.

And I love Eric's acting, all his little mannerisms and facial expressions seem so natural. :D

Hahaha! I loved that part. I was wondering, "Now, is he just 'seeing' her all these places or is she actually all these places." I loved that it was their plan to make him think he was just seeing her everywhere.

I have a major crush on Eric. A while ago I started watching the old X-Man episodes (for Eun Hye and Jong Kook) and Eric appeared a few times...now I just watch things for him lol.
I haven't started watching this drama (hope to start soon though!), but I've read the recaps at Dramabeans and I'm happy this drama is getting good feedback. It seems pretty funny just reading about the episodes, and I can't wait to imagine how hilarious it'll be once I start watching it (x

It confused me at first haha, I had trouble following it because I didn't realize at first that she was in North Korea. After a couple episodes I started to like it more and more (: I'm looking forward to the next episode (:
What I love about this drama is how straight-faced all of the actors are playing their roles when the situation is just absolutely absurd. They're totally invested in this world that's familiar yet not (I mean, I would totally believe that North Korea has some kind of program in place to stop the infiltration of outside mainstream pop culture, just not to the extent it's portrayed in this drama)---I don't think Spy Myung Wol would be as funny to me as it is now if Eric or Han Ye Seul were constantly mugging and/or winking at the camera like they were in on the joke.

It took me until the end of the third episode for me to admit that I love this show. That last scene was such a small, minor incident, but it made me squeal in delight. Once a drama has me squealing, there's no going back.

Hahaha! Yeah, I squealed a little there, too...and then laughed in the continuation of the scene in episode 4. Should've known...
