Geez the political maneuvers in the hospital can put chaebol dramas to shame. It's so over there that it overpowers everything else! I hope that won't be the case in the next episodes! Ped Chief Go is SO ugh! Can't they petition him to go away instead!?

Moon Chae Won is the only character I liked in this episode! She looks after Si On at the hospital, she makes him understand what happens when he arbitrarily does things by himself without considering hospital policies and even though she is frustrated with him, right now she's the only one who has enough power to tell her residents to cut Si On some slack. Aigoo, if this doesn't let up by the next eps, I'll be very disappointed!
OMG! just finished watching the first 4 eps and it was nowhere near disappointing. Moon Chae Won is as beautiful as ever and Joo Won is looking so cute when he have the brain of a 10 years old. i can see that this will be a great drama and bring joy to many people's life. Recommend Good Doctor to anyone that love good drama. arrrrrrrrr ep 4 ended in a nerve racking situation. can't wait till ep 5 is aired.
akai-kitsune wrote: I want the drama to focus more on Si On. Atm he is like a side character.
I want more of him, not just him making mistakes.

Still love this drama so far.

Everytime they are mean to Si On I get teary eyes. That poor boy not even understanding why they don't like him.

This is so spot on. Having to see Ped Chief Go, his minion and the other directors using him as a pawn to ultimately kick Director Choi out is one thing, but messing up on his own is surely not something you'd want to see over and over!! What's the point! I don't even like how Prof Kim Do Han is treating him too!
yeah i am a little disappointed in this drama so far. i also expected less political maneuvering and more heartwarming stories with the patients.
I liked ep 3 and 4 as well and can't wait for ep 5, because the preview makes me feel like *___* And I was feeling down after ep 3, because (together with the preview for ep 4) it really seemed like the cute tiny baby is going to die. I was relieved that it didn't happen actually, but then the ending of ep 4... :( I guess I have to prepare for some losses. Btw, am I the only one being really curious about Kim Do Han's past and relationship to his brother? Any suggestions? I read someone's thoughts on tumblr and that user predicts that maybe Do Han's brother was autistic. I hope Do Han and Si On will become like brothers.

Yes, preview is really *___*
I also think that Kim Do Han had a brother who had some mental disability.
And yes, it would be awesome if those two become close. ^__^

I was happy to see those other guys playing basetball with him, but I wish mor of that kind of scenes.

I'm not disappointed, cause the acting is great, but I really want more patients less chairman battles.

I also am curious about the relationsship of Do Han and his bro.

Was I the only one being suprised about the director( Si On's wannabe guardian) and the chairman woman( or whatever her position is) being married. How can that silly fiancee of Do Han be wannabe guardian's daughter?

If you want to know why I don't like her, its just....how could she tell her fiancee to go and cheat on her?

I was surprised but not big time. I feel like I don't like her either.

I also don't like her because it seems like she cares more for hospital profit that the patients they treat. I also don't like her attitude with Do Han; for example, in the scene when he gets called back, she turns his phone off (you never turn a doctor's phone off) and pouts after he decides to leave, yet at the same time, she suggests he cheat on her? What the hell is that? She can't have it both ways, and frankly, I think she's more of a pouty brat than a grown woman who makes decisions of the hospital. I wouldn't trust someone like that with those decisions; then again, look at some of the doctors she works with, particularly Dr. Go. He's disgusting.
So what just happened at the end episode 5? what was that? a werewolf? i think this is getting really unrealsitic
I don't think it was a warewolf lawl. Maybe that child was abused and abandoned... these things happen, but not often. But we'll just have to wait for tomorrow's episode :p

I kinda facepalmed when the ball fell behind him. -_- I'd rather see him gain respect from the children and the moms seeing that.

I missed the part of the conversation where the director, chairwoman and Chae Kyung were talking about that--it's on ep 4 right? I'm rewatching the scene to make sure I heard right...

yes! Never ever ever ever!

I don't know what how they call them in English, but there are people like that, beggars covered in grease, messed up hair, they sometimes talk loud on the streets, they eat garbage (I am serious) and you cannot simply approach them because they have a mental condition and can hurt people. I wouldn't call it 'unrealistic' until I've seen the full episode though.

Of course I also want him gaining respect, but we will have to wait it seems.

Now I'm really curious why his mom left him. Shi On clearly remembers his brothers face, but in the preview it seemed like he can't remember his mothers face.

So I'm waiting for ep 6 to bring some clearness.

I actually felt a bit relieved the negative stuff weren't as heavy like the last episode. And other than Dr. Cha, at least the senior res is protecting him from Woo Il Gyu's bullying. And at least he was able to get close to two children and two pairs of parents since ep 4. lol I'm keeping track.

I'm excited to see what happens when he sees his mom...and whether he's going to be allowed to handle the grease kid patient.
