No one mentioned it so far and I think it fits what you're looking for; main character is a professional killer. It's one of my favourite dramas. 

I know! I love that drama! Thats why im still searching dramas alike to that theme. Watched it from their very first release of episode. I think killer as lead role is cooler than good guys

villains as protagonist? here? 

how are they villains??? just for few rude moments, cheating gf or school bulling? 

I can't understand, why so many people think city hunter as "bad guy", this drama/ML is fail as revenge and bad guy type, he is like puppy, I think Lee min ho was bad choice, he is super handsome but he is sweet guy, he can't play mean rude or cruel character, not even revenge type guy... 

for example ML in "smile hes left your eyes" is perfect type for that kind character, he just has this dark charisma,
