I noticed this drama by accident tbh, and since episodes are only 30 min long it decided to check it out. And I'm enjoying it. And you? :)
I watched the first three episodes to check if I was interested or not. What I saw in those episodes made me anticipate what is coming. I've put it on hold for now. I want to pile up a few episodes.
Nobody is watching it or have any thoughts about it? I love 30-min episode formula as well the fact this drama is so interesting and I'm never bored with each episode!
I'm watching it too~! Now at episode 39 and I can say, wow it totally pulled me in :D *can't wait for more*
I was going to wait a while till I retook this drama, but I watched episodes 4 & 5 the other day. I think I'm going to watch it regularly now, so it will tide me over the wait of Empress Ki. I need another great saguk and this one had the makings of one.
You know, at the end of episode 13, if ChaeHwa wanted to see the king that badly she should have just gone and done so. Why act so stupid trying to "protect" your daughters from something no one will put together until they see her? She's the problem not that Solnan and Solhi went to see the king's entourage. *rolls eyes*
Omg, I can't more and more stand Solhi!!!! xD
I'm watching too :) And really loving it. I'm off to watch episode 53! I think we could discuss the episodes openly here without adding constant spoiler tags? What do you guys thing? :) At least, while discussing the subbed ones.
I have been enjoying the drama. I am up to the latest episode. These 30 minute episodes fly by. I guess I covered all the episodes in about four days. I just love watching Seo woo. I can't understand all the hate directed at her by commenters. People sure get worked up over actresses getting plastic surgery. Doesn't bother me at all. I loved her in Queen Inhuyoun's man and Cinderellas sister. It is interesting watching her evil character in this drama.
^ It is true though, Seo Woo plays villains quite well. I'm loving her in this too; she plays Solhee with a considerable amount of greed and cruelness but then she manages to switch to being a sweet, innocent girl - we all know it's an act, deep down she's faking it but we believe in it somehow, just like the rest of the characters do. I think the acting's good in general. Seo Hyun Jin has been doing great as well, just like all the male actors :)
It seems that drama was shorten to 110 episodes... too bad as I really enjoy it, but maybe it good that they don't want to keep it going and prolong it too muchhhh. ;(
Noo, drama ended :( I will miss it!
Im just marathoning this drama... Im on ep 99 and I love everything aboutt it! Such a great drama!
Just finished the drama. I just don't understand why Jinmu's evil deeds thruout were just glossed over. He deserved a horrible ending for all the horror he caused. Instead he rides off into the sunset with Solhi? It seems like most of the people watching the drama forgot about Jinmu killing all those innocent people in the village that took in Chaehwa and Kuchon. Another thing that bothered the heck out of me is the way Solhi character was scrubbed clean. She resented the fact her father was a deaf mute and was embarrassed by him. Yet in flashbacks Solhi was depicted as a loving daughter. I stuck with the series and all in all enjoyed it. The scene where Jinmu was stabbed by a sword that went completely thru his body led to the best line I have heard yet in K-drama. The King inquired whether Jinmu would survive and the physician said "yes, fortunately the wound was not too deep". The writer sure flubbed that one.
Episode 54 I wish I could find this moment as touching as Solnan does, reuniting with that snake she calls dongsaeng, but I can only think about how STUPID she is!
