Yes, let's go back to the sisters, shall we? After all, it's a little unfair to keep on telling me how great the drama I didn't see is.
It sound so much like: "oh, you don't like pistachio ice-cream? Well, that's because you've never eaten the one they make in... Toronto, at 15st BlaBla Avenue..." :p ;)
Ops... some new input while I was writing...
@Skye: this is possibly my... nth problem with their dramas: they don't make me laugh out loud. I smile, a couple of times I giggle, but that's the extent. I loved My Girl because of the way the two main actors interacted with each other. I thought they had great chemistry and never hoped for her to end up with the second, nice guy. And, just like RF, it was my... second, if not the first Korean drama I ever watched. I have never gone back to it for fear of finding it a little dull now: like this, I keep the good memory of it.
As for YaB, the only scene which made me laugh was the spitting one.
I laughed more at some Ajusshi's lines in City Hunter - and that was by far not a funny drama.
So I guess humour is a truly hard wall to climb, because it varies enormously from one person to the next.
I tried the first episode of The Greatest Love because everybody was saying how much they laughed. I even watched clips of later episodes posted to show a particularly hilarious scene. And my reaction was a raised eyebrow. :S
