Synopsis: Kim Jung Hwa is a young and sincere middle school teacher, who has little interest in money. She is also extremely warm-hearted and loves to help other people. When she helps carry an elderly man's belongings from the train to another location, the elderly man is extremely thankful. This grandfather turns out to be the extremely rich owner of a well known conglomerate. His grandson, Kang Dong Won is a quick-tempered businessman who rivals his grandfather, but in an almost comical way. In an order to "tame" his favorite grandson, the grandfather agrees to give his entire fortune to the person who marries Kim Jung Hwa, therefore forcing Kang to meet the girl whom his grandfather chose.

And whoa, it stars Kang Dong Won. That being said, so far i've only seen one episode and it's decent.
I got about halfway through the series and dropped it. I found the premise interesting which is why I started it, but the acting really didn't do it for me. I like Kang Dong Won (from the movie Too Beautiful to Lie) but this drama had horrible acting imo.

Sorry for any fans out there. Him nae!
Do you think I should give it a try? I have it on my plan to watch list but I haven't got around to it yet...

You should start out with it, but you'll know by the 4th or 5th episode if it's a drama for you. I realized it at that point, but the optimist in me thought it may get better~ However, if you enjoy it by ep 4 or 5 you'll probably like the rest of the show. If by ep 4 or 5 you're tired of it, you can drop it anytime.

I just don't want to prevent you from watching this drama in case it turns out to be your favorite, cause it was on the fence for me for awhile. Then I just pushed it over. :p
Thanks, then I'll probably give it a try :)
This was one of the first dramas I watched, brings back memories. However, I have to agree with Mary, is not a good drama. I watched the whole thing though, I also like KDW, and after the drama I followed him in other movies, he is a good actor, but sometimes good actors act in not-so-good dramas.
If you are a big fan of him, you can pull through, is not horrible, just not a strong plot and pretty ordinary. It was okay. Hope I don't offend any fans :)
I dropped this like a hot potato! I got about half-way through and it just kept going downhill. The main female character was too mopey. Blah Blah Blah, i have repeated myself about this drama too may times lol (see the dropped thread, I think that's where I really let loose on it) I didn't even know there was a discussion thread for it until just now. Basically, the writers messed up the character in my opinion. =___= It became painful to watch.
Currently watching this now & it's starting to feel like a chore aka not a good thing to be feeling lol. Decided to give it a shot b/c of KDW and it was pretty decent at the start, but gradually started to plummet downhill as it began to annoy me. From where I'm at, there's nothing really special about the drama and honestly, the overall acting isn't that great. The female who plays opposite KDW as the main role (too lazy to go check) is either A) not so good as an actress<--I wouldn't quite know since this is the first time I'm seeing her in a piece B) was given a role that the character was just meant to be boring/annoying ...maybe even both. I'm finding that A LOT of the interaction scenes that are meant to be romantic just come out seriously AWKWARD. I'm currently at 18/26 eps and I feel like it's a few eps too long! so yeah, it does seem to drag on. So far, it's NOT a drama that I'd recommend...it's just seems to be easily forgettable.
1% of anything is 0% in everything, dropped it without any thoughts
i watched the whole thing it was nice drama i want re-make :)) it looked really old, but i love'd the drama.
I watched this way back years ago and I was fast forwarding uninteresting parts for about 5 episodes before I really gave up and dropped it... I am not saying it's a terrible drama cause looking back I can see that it has a potentially good plot and good actors, but it's probably just me that I gave up on it... But please don't be discouraged, what is boring for me may not be boring to you, so go ahead and try it and be the judge yourself, you'll never know unless you try, maybe you'll even like it.
